After obtaining the opportunity to draw playacting characters, Wu Chen wasted no time. He mentally invoked "Akatsuki" and initiated his second draw for playacting characters of the day.
[Ding, playacting character drawing in progress...]
As the system's voice faded, a rapid succession of images flashed through Wu Chen's mind. Finally, the mental imagery settled on several figures dressed in black robes with red clouds, orange hair, and black spikes embedded throughout their bodies. Their eyes resembled bullseyes with purple-gray concentric circles, and they stood together as a group of six. Behind them sat a skeletal young man with wine-red long hair and black iron rods inserted into his back.
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for drawing the playacting character "Pain's Six Paths Nagato of the Akatsuki from the Naruto world!"]
It was indeed Nagato, Pain himself!
Wu Chen jumped up in excitement. He felt like rushing out to buy a lottery ticket. Maybe he'd win a billion straight away! His luck was unbelievably good, directly obtaining what he desired! Was he the chosen child of the system?
[System cannot procreate, please maintain decorum, Host.]
Wu Chen halted his wild thoughts, but the smile on his face remained. "Hey, have you encountered something good? You're already my Jinchuriki, yet you're so eager. What's with the rush?" the voice of the Nine-Tails appeared in Wu Chen's mind, sharing his vision but unable to see the system's details.
"Kurama, do you remember me telling you about the playacting system? I just drew a character with the Rinnegan!"
After a series of surprised exclamations from Kurama, expressing disbelief about the Rinnegan, Wu Chen indeed felt even happier.
"What's next for you?" Kurama, lying in Wu Chen's mental space, inquired.
"What's next?" Wu Chen's excited mood slightly calmed down upon hearing Kurama's question. He suddenly realized that his plan needed some adjustments. Although the overall direction remained unchanged, some minor details required tweaking. Before making any changes, though, he needed to understand how Nagato's Six Paths of Pain came into existence. Was it enough to draw Nagato directly, or did Wu Chen need to capture six individuals and craft them into the Six Paths of Pain?
It was easy to figure out. Wu Chen simply assumed the role of Nagato directly.
In the next moment, a peculiar contraption appeared in the room, with Nagato's emaciated figure secured within. "Ah..." Wu Chen couldn't help but cry out in pain. After assuming Nagato's role, he felt agony coursing through his entire body. Some of the pain was from the iron rods on his back, while some originated from Nagato's body itself. Although painful, Wu Chen finally understood how to play Nagato's Six Paths of Pain.
He then released the Nagato playacting and returned to his original appearance. He used Shadow Clone Jutsu to create six clones, one of which assumed the role of Nagato. Wu Chen himself touched the remaining five clones, transforming them into the other Paths of Pain.
Next, the Pain's Six Paths appeared!
The method of playing Nagato's Six Paths of Pain was different from before. It was divided into primary and secondary roles. The primary role was Nagato himself, while the secondary role was the Six Paths of Pain.
Wu Chen could directly assume the primary role, but he needed to first play the primary role before touching it to play the secondary role. It was essentially like drawing one character but receiving six!
With Pain's Six Paths now at his disposal, Wu Chen decided that one Nagato alone would be enough to handle the situation in New York, while Deidara and Kakuzu would go to Thor's side. This arrangement suited well, considering that the tradition of the Akatsuki was for missions to be undertaken by pairs. Kakuzu and Deidara made a good team.
As for Leaf Village, it would still be one-on-one with Minato Namikaze, with Madara Uchiha engaging Wu Chen's original body in New York.
With the battles between good and evil decided, Wu Chen looked forward to drawing more characters in the future, preferably some strong individuals from the Leaf Village. Otherwise, the balance of power might become uneven.
Thinking of strong individuals, Wu Chen realized he hadn't tested out Minato Namikaze, Kakuzu, Deidara, or Pain's Six Paths yet. Therefore, after releasing his role as the Deva Path, he created three more clones to play Minato, Kakuzu, and Deidara.
