"Don't stare at me, woman!"
Inside the lookout tower, Drax, who had entered together with them to their surprise, loudly exclaimed while looking at Gamora.
"Why is he here too?" Gamora turned her head away from him and asked Star-Lord.
"We promised him that he could follow you until he kills your boss, Ronan. And I, Star-Lord, always keep my word, especially when the other party is a crazy big guy who could kill me," Star-Lord shrugged and explained helplessly to Gamora.
Hearing this response, Gamora rolled her eyes, turned away angrily, and ignored him.
Star-Lord didn't mind and handed the prosthetic limb he held to Rocket in front of the control panel, saying, "This is for you."
"Oh, the prosthetic limb was just a joke between you and me. In fact, I only need two things. I just didn't expect you to take it so seriously and actually bring it here, hahaha," Rocket mocked as he performed complex and delicate operations on the control panel.
"What!? Rocket, I'm telling you, if we didn't need your help to escape from this prison right now, I would definitely show you what a sandbag-sized fist feels like!" Star-Lord exclaimed in frustration and powerless rage.
"So, what's the plan to get out of here?" Drax asked as more and more guard robots were converging toward them.
"Don't worry, it already has a plan," Star-Lord said, feeling relaxed and trusting Rocket, who was an expert at jailbreaks. However, seemingly remembering their previous experience, Star-Lord followed up with, "You're not playing me again, are you?"
"No worries this time, I've planned it for real," Rocket said confidently.
"Do you need my help? Maybe I can speed up your work," Baymax offered, watching Rocket bustling around the workbench alone.
"Oh, it's you, the Big guy with the afterthoughts. If you can help, can you please speak up earlier next time?" Baymax's actions did improve Rocket's impression of him somewhat, but the sassy Rocket didn't go easy on his words.
Although Rocket didn't explicitly say it, Baymax, with his intelligence, understood that Rocket needed his assistance. And this was something Baymax excelled at.
Knowing exactly what Rocket's plan was, without needing Rocket's command, Baymax integrated his program into the control panel and modified the control program.
"Well done, big guy, you're actually useful!!" Seeing Baymax directly assisting him to complete the task, Rocket couldn't help but praise him.
"It deactivated the artificial gravity that keeps people from floating outside of this tower," Gamora said excitedly as she saw the prison guards, who were now preparing to fire at them, floating in mid-air. She knew that this jailbreak plan had succeeded!
With the seamless cooperation of Baymax and Rocket, the entire lookout tower's controls fell into their hands quickly. Rocket detached the watchtower from its base connected to the prison, while Groot commanded the guard robots to arrange themselves under the watchtower, acting as thrusters to propel the entire tower.
"I told you I had a plan!" Soon, with the artificial gravity deactivated, they easily propelled themselves outside of the prison with the power of the guard robots.
"This plan is really awesome!" Star-Lord couldn't help but admire it.
Soon, everyone retrieved their confiscated equipment from the storage room, and Baymax donned the battle armor Mark had designed for him, significantly enhancing his speed and combat abilities.
"Is the Cosmic Orb secure?" After getting her equipment, Gamora came to Star-Lord and asked to confirm.
"Um... Yeah, it's safely in my bag," Star-Lord replied nervously. "But that's not important now. We need to get on my ship, Milano, and leave this place quickly."
Given the urgency of the situation, Gamora didn't doubt Star-Lord's words and quickly gathered with the others, boarding Star-Lord's ship, Milano.
After smoothly boarding the ship and leaving the heavily guarded Kyln prison, Rocket couldn't wait to tell Gamora, "Alright, girl, I've fulfilled my promise and got you out of that hellhole. Now, it's your turn to lead us to the mysterious buyer."
However, Gamora shook her head and looked at Star-Lord. "Not yet. He needs to show the item to me first. I won't reveal the coordinates of the buyer and the confirmed meeting point unless I see the Cosmic Orb with my own eyes."
Hearing Gamora's words, Rocket found the request reasonable, so he also looked in Star-Lord's direction, clearly conveying the message that they wanted him to show them the item and give them peace of mind.
"Um... If I say, if.. If I don't have the Cosmic orb with me, you guys won't tear me apart on the ship, will you?" Star-Lord had never expected things to be exposed so quickly. He had thought that after going through so many hardships and escaping from the prison, they should take a moment to relax their tense nerves.
Then, he could find a planet to dock, get rid of them, and escape with Baymax, continuing their carefree adventures.
Unfortunately, reality told him that he had underestimated Rocket's obsession with wealth, leaving him no choice but to confess directly.
"You little punk, what did you say!?" Hearing Star-Lord say that the Cosmic Orb wasn't on him, Rocket immediately aimed his weapon at Star-Lord, and the atmosphere on the ship became tense.
And Gamora couldn't believe it as she questioned, "This can't be true! The Cosmic Orb must be on you. Korath, whom Ronan sent to find the Cosmic Orb on Morag, found no trace of it on the planet. The only possibility is that you, who arrived there before him, had taken it!"
Star-Lord had a bitter expression as he shook his head. "I did arrive on Morag before him, and I did enter the temple, but I found nothing there! I even got into trouble because of that and ended up being pursued by both Yondu and Ronan. I really got the short end of the stick!"
"So, you deceived us in the prison, and you really didn't have the Cosmic Orb!" Seeing Star-Lord's reaction, Gamora began to believe that the Cosmic Orb was indeed not on him.
However, this only made her angrier. She had placed all her hopes on the Cosmic Orb, the only chance she had to change her fate. And now, Star-Lord who had given her hope, only to crush it with his own hands.
How could she not be angry? Gamora directly pulled out her dagger and held it to Star-Lord's neck.
Seeing Star-Lord in a precarious situation, Baymax also stepped forward, aiming his palm cannons at Rocket and Gamora. With Drax being the only one staying out of the conflict, it seemed like the tension on the ship could escalate into a full-blown battle at any moment...
