Returning to the outside world, Jack looked at the ordinary eraser in his hand with a sense of joy in his heart at having escaped the bad situation
Suddenly, the spaceship shook, and Jack snapped back to reality. This was not the time for celebration - He needed to escape danger first.
Jack took a deep breath and removed a small circle in his line of sight with the eraser in his hand.
Then, as if by an invisible hand, everything behind the circle was wiped clean, including the lightning and thunderstorm clouds, leaving no trace behind.
Moreover, the raging lightning could not affect the wiped-out area as if an invisible barrier had been created. A circular safe passage appeared on the spaceship's forward path.
"Yah-hoo!"
Seeing this scene, Jack danced excitedly, unable to contain his joy.
Finally, He was out of danger.
The spaceship flew smoothly into the safe passage without any hindrances. It was finally completely safe.
"Phew!"
Jack lay down in the cabin with a relieved smile on his face.
As the spaceship had lost power, it could only move forward due to inertia.
Jack quickly looked ahead and saw that the circular safe route was on endlessly. He couldn't even see the end of it. This indicated just how vast the range of cosmic thunderstorms was.
Jack felt lucky once again. If not for the Salvage Pool, he would be done for.
The problem was successfully resolved. However, he felt a strong sense of exhaustion. He had gone through several near-death experiences in just a few short hours. His mind had been under pressure.
Now that he had relaxed, he felt a little overwhelmed and wanted to take a nap.
Considering that the spaceship was still flying in space and it would take a while to reach the destination, Jack decided to close his eyes and take a nap.
Meanwhile, in Asgard
The Royal Palace of Valaskjalf
Odin, the old king of Asgard, sat on his throne holding the Gungnir spear with his eyes closed. Despite his age, no one dared to underestimate him, for his frail body contained the power to easily destroy a planet.
Suddenly, Odin opened his, a glint of light flashing through it.
Suddenly, Odin opened his one remaining eye, and a glint of light flashed in his eyes. "Someone has disrupted the magic circle I left behind!" he said, his expression filled with concern. He sighed deeply and murmured, "I don't have much time left."
With that, he stood up from his throne. He had to stop whoever was responsible for this, for if the secrets of that place were discovered, it would trouble Asgard.
Given the limited time he had left, there were several urgent problems in Asgard that he needed to solve before his death.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly, Odin frowned slightly and stopped his steps.
Crack!!
Immediately after, a spark-shaped circular door appeared in front of Odin. Inside the door was a bald woman in a yellow robe.
Of course, Odin knew who she was, but he didn't understand why she would come to find him.
"Ancient One, what brings you here."
The Ancient One, the most powerful Sorcerer Supreme after Agamotto, was not to be underestimated. Her strength was not inferior to Odin's, especially since she possessed the Time Stone, one of the Infinity Stones.
"I have come to tell you something important, King Odin."
The Ancient One's face was with a faint smile as if she were speaking to an ordinary person instead of a king.
"What is it?" Odin frowned, confused.
"The future has changed!"
One sentence changed everything. Odin's previously calm expression immediately changed, filled with surprise and even a slight unease. He looked at the Ancient One and asked, "Changed?"
"The future has changed," she said, causing Odin's expression to change from calm to surprised and even nervous. "Someone altered the timeline two months ago. Although I don't know what happened, I can confirm that the future has changed. All the future scenarios I knew before have disappeared."
The Ancient One nodded and continued, "The timeline has also changed, creating many different timelines. I've been investigating this for days, and I only know that there seems to be a problem at the end of time."
"The end of time?" Odin frowned. He wasn't worried about the timeline but was thinking about The Ancient One's words. If the previous future scenarios had disappeared, then what about his prophecy of Ragnarok?
"There's also one more thing, which is why I came here," The Ancient One said. "I've discovered the existence of an entity that exists outside of time. I didn't observe this entity in any past or future scenarios I knew of, but it does exist."
"An entity outside of time?" Odin widened his one eye, even showing a hint of horror. "Is it...them?"
No one could escape the influence of time, even the powerful like Odin, and at this point in time, he had little left. It was understandable that Odin was in a state of shock.
"It's not them," the Ancient One decisively denied Odin's speculation. "If it was them, I would know."
"What if they don't want you to know?" Odin said
"There is nothing we can do about it, do we?" Ancient One replied
Odin's breath fastened. The Ancient One was right. They couldn't do anything about it even if they confirmed it was them.
"Then...who is that person?" Odin Asked
"Where were you planning on going just now?" Ancient One Asked
Odin paused. Where was he planning on going? He planned on finding the person who had broken into his magic circle.
Wait a minute! Could it be?
Odin was shocked and looked at the Ancient One in disbelief.
The Ancient One didn't speak but smiled mysteriously, and the portal disappeared.
"Phew!"
Odin sat back down, took a deep breath, and his eyes flickered with thoughts.
Beep beep beep
In a daze, Jack was awakened by an urgent alarm. It took him seconds to remember where he was, but he didn't even bother getting up as a lazy person.
It was then that he realized he was floating in the cockpit, and looking outside, he had already flown out of the thunderstorm zone and into an unfamiliar space.
But none of that was important. What was important was that Jack's spacecraft had been caught by the planet's gravity and quickly flew towards it.
The alarm he had heard earlier was the sound of the spacecraft about to crash.
