Chapter 12: Agent Coulson
Although he didn't see her around that was when his attention got drawn to the television where it said
''Tony Stark third annual benefit for the firefighter's family fun has become the hottest topic especially after the stunt that was pulled at the conference he called, some say he is suffering from post traumatic stress and has been bedridden for weeks but whatever the case may be, no one expects an appearance from him tonight.''
Tony didn't know how to take this news.
"a party made by the host which didn't host it and not expecting his arrival?''
It sounded more like a funeral than a party, and now Tony at least had an idea where everyone went to.
''It seems I must crash my party to know what's going on, eh? At least let's use this chance to re establish some connections''
And that was how Tony got dressed and jumped into one of the luxurious cars and zoomed off to the party.
Getting there he was required to hand over the car to the valet which he did begrudgingly as he hadn't even spent enough time with the car.
It wasn't even long, and Tony started seeing people who he recognizes and those he doesn't, along with people who idolize him and were cheering for him.
Moving on to the first familiar person he set his eyes on was his uncle, Mr Obadiah Stane
"Unless there's another Tony Stark in town, I'm wondering why I didnt get an invitation''.
''Hahahaa, Tony don't take it the wrong way''.
''Alright let me go peek in then''.
''Um Tony, stay low, we have the board member where we want them so to be careful man''.
''Alright Obi''
Tony then stepped in after that and walked up to the bar counter taking a sip of different drinks as this was literally his first time tasting them.
''Hi Tony Stark, Mrs Potts must have told you, I am Agent Coulson from the strategic homeland intervention …''
''Oh yeah, you guys need to work on your name''.
''We get that a lot, I am sorry this may seem like a bad time, but we need to debrief you, we've got a whole lot going on and we need to at least put something in the books, so how about a meeting at the stark tower by 7pm''
''Alright, I don't see a problem with that, I will contacts miss Potts and so will you too''.
''Alright then, thank you''.
Following that he left as Tony continued scanning everyone in the hall, trying to read and remember their faces, actions, and personalities when a blonde lady came to him with a smile.
From the way Tony looked at her, it seemed he didn't recall her name and she wasn't prioritized so she reminded him of her name.
''Christine''
''Oh Yeah, Christine''
''You have a lot of nerve showing up here tonight, can I at least get a reaction from you?''
''Nope''
''I was talking about the atrocities associated with your company''.
