Chapter 47: Two years later

The morning sun cast a beautiful shade on the surface of the ocean, which reflected the beautiful blue sky and white fluffy clouds.
The long coconut trees along the beach swayed from side to side due to the cool breeze surfing from the surface of the ocean unto the land.
Even at such a time, the beach was filled countless tourists from all over the globe as well as several natives who sought to enjoy themselves and make merry.
A few meters away from the beach stood a beautiful mansion with a well trimmed lawn and garden only accentuating it's beauty.
Within the mansion; in the main bedroom, a figure lied on the master sized bed, his lower body covered in white bedsheets, and his upper body bare, who was in a deep slumber.
The figure was a young man with his slightly long silver hair reaching his shoulders. He looked to be in his early twenties And was very handsome.
"Ughh." With a groan, he opened his eyes and turned to his left, expecting to see a figure lying beside him, however, he saw no one.
Sitting up, he picked up a pair of shorts on the floor and put them on, before picking up a brown tank top and putting it on. After dressing up, he stretched his back lazily and yawned, before he turned into a streak of lightning and disappeared into the room on his left in a split second.
A second later, he appeared in a streak of lightning with and washed face and walked downstairs.

Descending to the main hall, the first thing that greeted him was the aroma of toast, bacon, eggs and freshly squeezed juice.
He walked to the kitchen with a smile and saw a sexy red haired figure wearing nothing but a pair of panties and baggy long sleeve white shirt with rolled sleeves.
Stealthily, he crept up behind her and immediately wrapped his arms around her figure in a tight hug.
"You're awake?" The red haired beautiful woman smiled turned her head and pecked him on the lips and asked. "Mmhmm." The young man nodded slightly and began kissing the neck of the woman.
"Breakfast is almost ready. Why don't you have a seat.. and I- ughh." The woman tried her best to resist him, however, his naughty hands reached her breasts and began to knead them gently, causing her to let out a moan.
"How about I eat something else this morning." He whispered in a sultry voice in her ear, which made her smirk.
"Come on. You know I don't have infinite stamina like a beast like you. Besides, I'm still recovering from last night's intense orgasms." She turned around and kissed him deeply, before grabbing a tray of neatly arranged plates filled with food and walking to a dinner table.
The man smirked and slapped her perky butt as she walked away, causing it to jiggle.
"Come on, let's go one more round." Just as she was setting up the table for breakfast, he arrived in a split second, sat on a chair, grabbed her by the waist and made her sit on his lap, while me began to kiss her deeply with his naughty hands gently kneading her butt cheeks.
"~ummm you're so naughty." She moaned and kissed him back passionately, but separated from him a second later and smirked. "I'll satisfy you another time, but let's have breakfast, it'll get cold soon..." She smiled and walked over to another seat and served him food.
"Fine." The young man sighed and began to eat his food with a smile. The next second, he grabbed unto a remote and turned on the TV which was a few meters away from the dining table.
"...After the incidents of Sokovia, the United Nations announced a verdict for the members of the Avengers to become a governmental organization or disband..."
On a TV station, a female news caster was providing news which immediately caught the attention of the young man and the woman.
"Can you turn it up a bit?" The red haired woman asked as the man nodded and increased the volume.
"Some members of the Avengers signed the treaty, and some refused. As of now, the Avengers have disbanded as an organization, with some of their members imprisoned, although a few days ago, we got reports that those who had been in prisoned had planned and escaped from custody and are now wanted....." The news caster kept on reading the news, as the young man and the woman's face twisted in disbelief.
"Was it a good thing that we decided to take a break from things?" After a few minutes of pin drop silence between them, the woman asked with a frown, while the man although shocked, still ate his food.
"Would anything have changed if we were around?" The young man wiped his lips with a tissue and said.
"You're right.....I just can't believe what is happening right now." She sighed and took a sip of juice. "Well, at least no one is dead or injured." The young man said with a shrug.
"Ding Dong!" After eating, the young man was sitting in a couch completely relaxed, when their door bell rung.
"I was planning on taking a nap." He said in annoyance, before he stood up and walked to the door. The moment he opened his door, he facepalmed after seeing the visitor.
"Nice place you got." Tony Stark said with a smile and walked in with an examining look.
"You want something to drink?" The young man asked and went to the fridge and took out two bottles of beer and placed them on the center table in the hall.
"So hows retirement doing it for you Duke?" Stark took one bottle and popped the cover off, before taking a sip and saying.
"Not what I wanted but at least it's peaceful." The young man, Duke, took the other beer bottle, popped the cover and drank.
"Again, congratulations on your relationship with Nat. You both deserve each other." Stark said, as Duke rolled his eyes and smirked.
" I heard what happened with the team. Can't say I didn't expect it.." Duke reclined in the couch and said, as memories flashed across his mind. "You don't need to worry about the rest of the team. Apparently, Rogers escaped with them in booth and they are hiding somewhere safe." Stark said.
"Stark?" Suddenly, the red haired woman came down from the room fully dressed in a beautiful yellow dress.
"It's been a while Nat. You look uhhh like a wife right now." Stark said with a small wink.
"I hate you." Nat said and sat beside Duke. "So what brings you here Stark?" She asked with a small smile.
