Chapter 141: MD-Chapter 141 Travel Plans!

Arthur's thoughts first turned to the Power Stone, naturally linked to a certain Thanos.

After a few days of "interactions" with Yondu's subordinates, Arthur felt that his mental state had gradually recovered and stabilized. This allowed him to calmly think and carefully plan again.

What Arthur found interesting was that he could clearly perceive his mental state, whether he was mentally breaking down or recovering.

The difference was that this calmness wasn't enough to dictate his actions.

It was as if he were observing his mental state from a god-like perspective, having everything clearly under control while intentionally refraining from interfering.

This peculiar mental state was something Arthur himself couldn't quite interpret.

He hadn't looked into the mental breakdown states of others, so he didn't know if they experienced similar phenomena.

His self-interpretation made him feel that the mental breakdown he experienced after escaping might have been a release of his emotions.

Rather than causing more mental disturbances, it seemed to have alleviated his frayed nerves.

However, this was only something Arthur realized after these few days; he hadn't been aware of it at the time.

This led Arthur to question whether the true use of the Battle Soul obtained from Disassembling Mark I was to address this issue.

Without any evidence, Arthur could only continue to speculate.

He then started to consider planning his future travels. If the opportunity arose, he needed to go to Morag.

This abandoned planet hid the Power Stone.

Even if he couldn't use it or Disassemble it… Given that even the Tesseract couldn't be stored in the Disassembler Space, he thought the Power Stone probably couldn't be either.

But this didn't prevent Arthur from obtaining it.

If he could get the Power Stone ahead of time, Thanos would clearly be unable to collect all six Infinity Stones, and the sunset finger snap would be eradicated.

"However, this operation must be conducted secretly. If possible, even Peter Quill shouldn't know."

Arthur murmured to himself. It wasn't that he didn't trust Peter Quill; he just doubted the guy's ability to keep secrets.

Given his personality, it was likely that after celebrating with some alien woman, he might use this as bragging material and reveal everything.

And if a third person knew, it would be like the whole universe knowing.

Thanos was incredibly powerful in the universe, and with the omnipresent cosmic will, it was inevitable that it would be detected, leading to potential disaster.

Once he settled this in his mind, Arthur had another thought.

But he quickly frowned… In the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the so-called "The Orb" was the Power Stone. It had a precise outer packaging.

This wasn't revealed until Peter Quill and the others took it to the Collector.

"If I can't unlock it, then it won't be of much use to me."

Arthur pondered for a while before shaking his head. Regardless of whether he could use it, he had to get his hands on it. There was no doubt about that!

He even started to consider whether he should make a fake to deceive Peter Quill in a few years.

Thinking about this made him chuckle to himself.

Muttering, he said, "So mischievous, I am really too mischievous! Hmm, let's do it!"

Playing with the "earpiece," he had a new guess: "The Tesseract represents spatial energy, so there was an error when the Disassembler tried to store it. But the Power Stone represents the aspect of power. The Disassembler might still be able to store it. If it can be placed in the Disassembler Space then it would be foolproof."

With a gentle sigh, he set this guess aside for now.

"Next, the Purple Quality Disassemble items…"

"I need to get as many as possible! Once my strength reaches a certain level, I won't have to worry about getting squashed even if the Disassembler upgrades."

"Besides that, there's the cost of the return trip and buying a Spaceship… Hmm, I can steal a Spaceship, but fuel must be bought. I can't just keep stealing fuel along the way, right? It would be quite undignified if the whole universe ended up hunting for a 'fuel thief' or 'fuel hijacker.' Even if I return to Earth, it wouldn't be good for bragging material."

"Lastly… should I visit Thanos before going back?"

Arthur expanded his thoughts, then quickly shook his head: "Too early, that's way too early! Even without the Infinite Gauntlet, Thanos is not someone ordinary people can handle. If I went now, the Black Order alone would be enough to kill me. I shouldn't recklessly court death, even as a protagonist— reckless behavior can lead to death!"

After organizing all this, Arthur suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.

In the vast universe, amidst the stars, looking out through the cabin's suspended window, Arthur's eyes reflected the shimmering starlight: "This is… the real world!"

He reached out and lightly touched the glass, as if a dream shattered, a world apart!

...

...

Time passed quickly, and the day of the agreed-upon meeting with Peter Quill was approaching.

According to the Raiders, they would reach their destination within the next twelve hours at most.

Arthur was quite eager. If he weren't already prepared to work with Peter Quill, he'd be really interested in seeing how these Raiders operated.

Peter Quill, who had promised to sleep for three days, couldn't keep his eyes closed after sleeping for a whole day.

He constantly pulled Arthur into idle chatter, building rapport, supposedly to lay the foundation for their future assignment on a spaceship.

After just seeing Peter Quill off, another visitor arrived shortly after, and Arthur saw it was a blue-headed man.

Opening the cabin door, Yondu walked in with a smile and said, "How's the rest these days? Getting used to space travel?"

Arthur nodded, "I really like your subordinates."

"Haha, they say the same about you."

"Really?" Arthur smiled.

"Not really." Yondu said, "They can't wait for you to leave."

"That's more like it." Arthur shrugged, "Nobody likes getting beaten up all the time."

"Yes, if you're being beaten, you should fight back!" Yondu said seriously. "If you can't win, gather your strength. Whatever you do, you must think and judge calmly to avoid mistakes. This universe, this galaxy… is incredibly beautiful and dazzling, but beneath its magnificent light lies endless danger!"

Arthur looked at Yondu with some confusion. Were these words really meant for me?

Then he saw Yondu stand up and say, "Rest well. Tomorrow will be an exciting show."

With that, Yondu strode out of the cabin.

When the spaceship finally came to a halt and floated in the universe, a deep red celestial body appeared before Arthur.

It was enormous and profound, with a red-like flame, deeply impacting Arthur's worldview.

Although Arthur had seen countless strange and various planets in sci-fi movies, including *Guardians of the Galaxy*, none could compare to the immense shock of seeing it up close.

Like all the Raiders, Arthur and the others gathered in the spacious hall, looking at Yondu at the front.

Yondu thought for a while, considering saying something to motivate the troops, but after some thinking, he simply grinned and said, "Let's go!"

Straightforward and decisive!

Arthur silently gave a thumbs up, but wasn't it supposed to be that they would be divided into groups?

Wasn't something forgotten?

And… where was Peter Quill?

As everyone surged towards the hangar, only Arthur and Yondu were left, looking at each other in confusion.

Yondu hesitated while looking at Arthur, and Arthur looked back at Yondu, both seeming somewhat awkward.

Finally, Yondu spoke, "How about you come with us?"

"No, no, no!"

Peter Quill's urgent voice finally came through, "He's with me. We're the Earth team!"

Yondu glared fiercely at Peter Quill, then nodded and said, "Don't cause me any trouble!"

With that, he left with the young man who had been following him.

As they walked away, the young man whispered, "Boss, I have a feeling those two are a bit strange."

"You shouldn't pay attention to the things that don't concern you, especially the forbidden knowledge!" Yondu gave the young man a sharp slap on the head.

The young man immediately covered his head and agreed.

Arthur suddenly felt like pulling out a gun and giving Yondu's head a shot. It seemed to him that what Yondu taught was the so-called "forbidden knowledge"!

"Alright, we're free now!"

Peter Quill excitedly put his arm around Arthur's shoulder and said, "Let's go, I've got everything ready!"

Arthur blinked, feeling confused. Was the preparation done while he was missing? What had he been doing for the past few days?

And… what was going on? How could they just leave so suddenly?

Was it always like this when Yondu sent everyone on missions? Couldn't they always just leave?

Arthur couldn't hold back his curiosity and asked.

"Not every time is like this. That's why I said your luck is exceptional!"

Peter Quill said with a serious face, "I just got the qualification to pilot my own spaceship, though it's not in a color I particularly like. But it's okay, I'll definitely get it repainted in the future!"

Arthur felt that this topic seemed to stray from the original focus.

With a head full of confusion, Arthur followed Peter Quill to the hangar. When he saw Peter Quill's spaceship, he understood why Peter Quill wanted to replace it.

The spaceship's overall structure was fine, and its shape was no different from others.

But for some reason, the entire spaceship was coated in green paint, which was unbearable for any man.

Yet, seeing Peter Quill, Arthur thought, how could this guy care about such details? His girlfriend was green, after all!

Shaking his head and dismissing his confusion, Arthur boarded the ship with Peter Quill.

After settling into the pilot and co-pilot seats, Peter Quill, with some excitement, began to explain the functions of the buttons to Arthur.

But he soon realized that Arthur had already started flipping switches and was waiting for him to deploy the thrusters.

"You know how to pilot a spaceship?" Peter Quill asked, stunned. "Have people on Earth already figured out how to travel through space?"

"Uh…"

Arthur thought for a moment and replied, "I only know how to fly a plane. This control panel is pretty similar."

"Really?" Peter Quill asked incredulously. "Why do I feel like you're trying to deceive me?"

Arthur put on his mask and said, "Look at my sincere expression and say that again!"

"..." Peter Quill.

The thrusters ignited with a roar, and the spaceship accelerated abruptly, entering the launch tube.

As they emerged from the tube into space, Arthur saw many spaceships around them heading toward the red planet ahead.

"Set the coordinates, everyone follows my lead!" Yondu's voice came through the communicator to everyone's ears.

"Hahaha!"

Peter Quill laughed heartily, suddenly slowing down. Watching as the other spaceships pulled away from him, he shouted into the comm channel, "Goodbye, guys!"

With that, he turned the spaceship around and roared off.

The crew left behind on Yondu's spaceship immediately launched a forward force field at Peter Quill and Arthur's garish green spaceship. However, they couldn't match its speed and could only watch as it disappeared into the vastness of space.

"Boss, Peter betrayed us! He ran off with that new guy!"

"Isn't that elopement? How romantic!!"

"Oh my God, you're really making me sick!"

Yondu sighed lightly, muttering to himself, "This incredibly beautiful and dazzling universe is full of dangers and horrors. But… I can't protect you forever. Go on, fly recklessly, be wild! With a bodyguard like that around, at least I don't have to worry about you getting yourself killed soon."

"Boss, what did you say?"

The young man who had been following Yondu asked, "Peter betrayed you!"

"Exactly! We can't let any traitors go unpunished!"

Yondu shouted, "After we complete this mission, we'll hunt him down! He'll learn what it means to betray me!!"

"Hu! Hu! Hu!"

...

...

Music started playing in the cabin, and once the destination coordinates were set, manual control switched to autopilot.

Peter Quill, showing off, danced around and pulled out a bottle of liquor from the cabinet. "This is my private stash. Good things should be shared with friends."

He poured two glasses and handed one to Arthur. "To our brilliant future!!"

Arthur reluctantly took the glass, sipped it, and was pleasantly surprised. It was indeed much better than the Raiders' alcohol.

Nodding in satisfaction, he listened to the energetic dance music of the '80s and smiled, "So, what's the plan after this?"

"Of course!"

Peter Quill immediately became animated. "First, I need to come up with a nickname for myself!"

Arthur opened his mouth to speak. "How does that relate to our plans?"

"Hey! Don't you get it?" Peter Quill said seriously. "With a nickname, we can make a name for ourselves."
