What If... there was a Dark (K)night?

In a world unknown to him, Batman found himself lost and without a way back to Gotham.

As he struggled to understand his new reality in search for a way back home, while inevitably having to fight crime, he stumbled upon the existence of superheroes called the Avengers.

In his mind, he took it as a chance to start over and lead a normal life, having appeared in the body of his younger self.

Bruce Wayne rebuilt his fortune, got married, and even became a father.

However, his world takes a sudden turn when Tony Stark invites him to a lavish party. Bruce is introduced to the Avengers, but the celebration is disrupted when one of Stark's suits is possessed by Ultron, and goes rogue.

With no choice but to step back into his vigilante persona, Batman dons an improved suit and joins forces with the Avengers to stop Ultron.

As he assists Earth's mightiest heroes in their quest to defeat the "peace-keeping" program, Batman finds himself missing the days when he would put his suit on and fight crime, while putting his detective skills at work.

Soon enough, he reveals his hidden world of improved technology to the Avengers, and unleashes Marvel's Dark Knight into the world.
