Chapter 20: Memory fragment part 2
In a big class room, many young boys and girls were talking with each other. They all looked to be in their teens. Some talking with their friends while others sleeping on the desk.
At that moment the door of that room slided open and a older man walked in. In his hand was a book. He had dark black hair and black eyes. He looked very tired.
When he entered everyone got back to their seats.
"Okay, class quite down." He said while opening his book.
"We have a new student with us. So, be good with him and also no feets on the desk mister Tom." He said while looking at a blonde boy who was looking outside the window while having his leg on the desk.
The boy turned to look at the teacher with a smirk on his face.
"Sorry, teach. Didn't hear you? What did you say?"
"Huff, you never change. I said to behave like a proper student, not like a thug."
The boy ignored him, but still sat properly.
"OK, you get in and introduce yourself."
He said to the boy who was standing behind the door.
Hearing the teacher calling him, he walked in.
He had brown hair and green eyes with glasses. All in all, he looked like an average nerd.
"H-hello, m-m-my name i-s Eric Wills. N-nice t-oo meet y-you a-ll."
He said while stuttering profusely. He was very nervous.
No one said any thing but looked at him with board look.
"OK, Eric go sit there." He said while pointing at the empty sit infront of the blonde boy.
Eric nodded his head and walked towards his sit and sat down.
The teacher then did the roll calls and started the class.
While the teacher was doing his job, the blonde boy pocked at the boy infront of him.
"Hey, new guy. So, what school did you come from."
The boy in question was startled at first. But, then opened his mouth to speak.
"Grove academy."
"Oh, that's very far away. Did you move here?"
"Yeah, my dad works as a manager in a company. He was transferred here recently."
"Oh, okay. I almost forgot to introduce myself. The names Thomas Knight. But you can call me Tom."
"OK Tom. You can also call me Eric.,"
And like that, a friendship was formed between two people.
At first, they only talked with each other in class. Mostly about study and other stuff.
But, slowly they became closer as they started to know each other better.
They became more closer when they learned they had the same hobby. And that is reading manga and watching anime.
"Did you watch the latest episode of one piece?"
"Yeah, it was mid."
"What do you mean mid. Did you even watch it. How can you say Don Clay's sacrifice and the jail brack was mid. Impel down arc was the best. Can't with to see the next arc."
"Yeah yeah."
The two friends were talking with each other.
Then, three boys came towards them.
"Hey, Tom. Why don't you hang out with us anymore? Why you talk with this nerd."
One of them said while whe sat on the seet beside Tom.
"Yeah, you should ditch this nerd and come back with us."
"No thanks, I'm good. Besides, you guys are to extreme."
"What do you mean? We are extreme and what about you? Did you forget that day?"
Tom looked at the boy, narrowing his eyes.
"We don't talk about that day."
The boy only grumbled and got up.
"If you hang out with him to long you will become like him."
Then he and the other twos went away.
Eric just looked at them and then at Tom.
"You sure you are OK?"
"Don't worry, they can't do anything. Lest go back to the new arc. Did you read the new Manga that came out?"
And so they ignored what happened that day and went back to talking with each other. Like that 4 months went by.
And their friendship deepened. Eric was a very clumsy boy. He didn't trust people to much but those he did he aways loves them.
He had a good connection with Tom and shared his deep secrets with him, Tom only listened. He was like a good listener.
But it all changed one day.
Eric was coming back from the store. When he was returning he saw Tom. He wanted to say hello. But he saw how Tom went behind an ally.
Eric ever so curious followed him. He saw Tom meet with and older man. He had his face covered.
They were talking with each other. Then the man gave Tom a packet with white powder.
Eric was smart enough to know what it was.
But he was shocked to find his friend here.
He hide behind a wall and watched as the man walk away.
Eric tried to run away but tripped on a rock and fell.
Hearing a noise Tom ran to it. He found Eric laying on the ground.
He was shocked.
"How much you saw?!"
He asked Eric while helping him get up.
"Everything."
"Don't you dare tell anyone, or else!"
"Or else what?!"
"You will see."
Then, Tom walked away.
Eric looked at the back of his friend now with a different view.
From then on their friendship ended. Tom and Eric ignored each other. Both, angered with each other. But, Eric still saw Tom as a friend. But Tom, ever so paranoid avoided Eric.
Slowly Tom stopped talking with Eric. Eric by this point was sad that he had lost his only friend. Tom started to hang out with his old friends again.
Everything was going good until one day.
"Did you hear? Eric is a nerd. He still reads those cartoons"
"Yeah, he is so weird."
"I heard he was gay."
"Really, I didn't know. I thought his mom was a whore?"
"Yeah me too."
Like that rumors started to spread about Eric. Some true ,some false.
Eric was shocked to learn about this. People started to bully him. Calling names and what not. But, no beatings.
Eric tried to find out who spreader those rumours. Turned out Tom told everyone about his secrets.
So, after school he went to Tom to confirm this.
He was walking somewhere with his friends.
"Tom! Why did tell them?! Why did you tell my secrets?!"
"Why? Very simple, I don't like you. And besides you are lame."
"But, we were friends. I didn't do anything to you. So, why?"
"You saw too much and we weren't friends. I only talked to you to know about you."
Hearing this Eric become angry and ran at Tom to punch him. But the thing was he was slow and weak. While Tom was fast and strong.
Tom dodged and punched him in the guts.
Saliva came out of Eric's mouth as he fell back and hit a wall.
When we looked up, he saw Tom and his friends standing infront of him.
"You shouldn't have done that. Now, your going to pay."
And like that they beat him up. From that they onwards the bullying became both physical and psychological. Calling names and beating him up while also taking stuff from him became normal.
Eric tried to tell the teachers about this and Tom. But, they couldn't do anything as Tom's father was a famous politician. They feared him. And his parents will only blame him if he told them. They only cared for themselves and there smarter son. Not him.
And so a year went by of him getting bullied.
Until the end of the year. Because of bullying his grades dropped greatly. His parents yelled at him.
He was at his breaking point. So, after enduring for so long he had enough. He decided to end it all.
So, at the end of class. He got up the school rooftop and came near the railing. He looked at the ground too see many students walking out with smile on their faces. Then, he saw Tom with his friends.
Eric's eyes were now devoid of any emotions. He got to the edge and looked up at the sky. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
"Good bye, cruel world."
Those were his last words as he jumped.

Aaahhhhhhhhh
Screams were everywhere as the students saw what fell down. Tom stood infront of his dead friend now without any life. His eyes were wide with shock.

....
The world froze as our Mc Arata stood near the body. He was also shocked. He didn't expect to see this in his memory. It was to much for him.
"Was that...me?"
I asked the system while looking at the body of Eric.
<No>
"Then, why did you show it? And who is me."
Then, all of a sudden, the world turned black and only two people stood.
One Arata and the second Thomas.
<He was you.>

A/N: How was the chapter. So, he was a bully? Warning: the next chapter will be just words.( yea, again because I am shameless)
Also, quick question, Did read my new fic called, Naruto: The one piece. If you like it and it's plot I will continue writing that along with this.
The story, is basically about how the naruto world is actually the one piece world. A flood happened and every people died. The world fixed it self and the remaining humans reproduced again creating the new humans who were there before Kaguya came. And like in the plot of naruto kaguya came and the rest is history.
Our mc is Shanks well reincarnation and his crew try to find the one piece and stop a great evil.
