Abyss Manipulation: Ashborn has the ability to manipulate the abyss, a realm that is home to souls who go there when they die. It is an eternal void to endure absolute isolation from the everything in existence. For that reason, there are those who would call a fate worse then hell itself. Here the souls that dwell here are forever doomed to wallow alone without any love or peace, becoming nothing as they lose pieces and bits of who they may be to the darkness.
Omnipresence: Ashborn possess a form of Omnipresence through Shadows and Darkness, making him present everywhere at the same time, as long as their is darkness/shadows.
Soul Manipulation: Ashborn can manipulate the soul, the incorporeal and immortal essence of a living thing, souls are usually most obviously present in sentient beings. At some level all biological organisms have souls, and even non-biological entities (such as rivers and mountains) possess something that is analogous to a soul.
Supernatural Condition: Ashborn as a Monarch and Embodiment of the Primordial Darkness possess supernatural capabilities, attributes and aspects that are drastically beyond what is naturally possible. With his condition alone, he can dwarf most beings in his respective universe.

Death Sense: Ashborn as the King of the dead that reside in the depths of the Abyss, he can sense the coming of death, determining when someone is dead or dying or if others have died in a specific location. This may extend to seeing the names and lifespans of those whose faces he sees. He as a monarch can not be tracked in mystical ways due to a lack of spiritual essence. He cannot be influenced by the powers of Heaven or Hell and is immune to the effects of Soul Manipulation, Necromancy, Soul Absorption, Soul Removal, Contract Bestowal or Penance Stare.
