Chapter 194: Chapter 195: Crossing into Other Spider-Man Worlds!

"Otto Octavius?" Seeing this name, Toby's version of Peter Parker was surprised, "Could he be the Otto I know?"

"Do you know him?" Nick Fury asked upon seeing Toby's reaction.

"He's an extremely talented physicist," Toby's version of Peter Parker said, "His ideas are very constructive, and I greatly admire him."

"This Peter Parker here has two enemies that are known people." Nick Fury pointed at Garfield's version of Peter Parker and said to Toby's version of Peter Parker, "Considering this, I think this Otto Octavius is likely the Otto Octavius you know."

"Wait, are you saying I have two friends who are enemies?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker quickly asked.

"Max Dillon, Harry Osborn, have you heard these two names?" Nick Fury asked.

"Harry!" Garfield's version of Peter Parker was taken aback, "What about Harry? You just said Harry could be my enemy!"

"Judging by how surprised you are, it seems you two have a close relationship." Tony Stark said.

"Harry is my brother, my best friend. Although we haven't seen each other in seven or eight years, back then, we were very close." Garfield's version of Peter Parker said, "You're saying he would become my enemy? How's that possible?"

"He probably wanted Spider-Man's help, but Spider-Man declined, and then he found out you're actually Spider-Man, that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, so he turned into 'Green Goblin'." Tony Stark said.

"What, Green Goblin?" This time, it was Toby's version of Peter Parker who was surprised, "Uncle Osborn becoming Green Goblin wasn't enough, now even Harry becomes Green Goblin?"

"Are you saying Norman would become Green Goblin?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker looked at Toby's version of Peter Parker, "Wait, you know Harry too? You know Norman Osborn?"

"Harry is my good brother too," Toby's version of Peter Parker said.

"It seems that some characters exist in all three worlds. Our world also has Norman Osborn and his son Harry Osborn." Nick Fury asked Toby's version of Peter Parker, "Is your girlfriend also Gwen Stacy?"

"No, my girlfriend is Mary Jane," Toby's version of Peter Parker said.

"And our Peter Parker is still single to this day. It seems there are differences between the three Peter Parkers." Tony Stark patted the head of Garfield's version of Peter Parker, "Did you hear that? If there's a girl named Mary Jane at your school, be attentive. Another 'you' has proven that you can catch her."

"In that case, shouldn't we also check if there's an Otto Octavius in our world?" Phil Coulson suggested, "After all, there's a world of Spider-Man where he exists."

"In fact, he exists in my world too, and he's an outstanding scientist," Toby's version of Peter Parker said, "Not only that, he's also good friends with Doctor Curt Connors."

"Then I should ask Dr. Connors if he knows Dr. Octavius," Toby's version of Peter Parker said.

After this conversation, everyone had a basic understanding. Toby's version of Peter Parker and Garfield's version of Peter Parker were highly consistent; many characters existed on both sides.

"This is a video that Peter Parker number 6 played before. You guys can take a look." Tony Stark pointed at Garfield's version of Peter Parker and was about to play the video using his watch.

"Number 6?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker was puzzled.

"Oh, because there are more than two parallel worlds, it's appeared before. To distinguish them, we gave each parallel world a number." Tony Stark motioned towards Garfield's version of Peter Parker with his chin, casually explaining, "Your world is the sixth parallel world to appear, so it's called World Number 6." Tony Stark then looked at Toby's version of Peter Parker, "I don't know when your world will appear, but since you're here, it's only a matter of time. Let's call your world World Number 7."

Tony Stark started playing the video of Garfield's version of Peter Parker battling Electro, and both Garfield's and Toby's versions of Peter Parker watched intently.

"A shooter?" When Toby's version of Peter Parker saw that Garfield's version of Peter Parker used a shooter, he looked very surprised, "Your web is made using a shooter, not your own mouth?"

"Although I'm called Spider-Man, I'm not really a spider, why would I spit out webs?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker said.

"Seeing how surprised you are, do you happen to be able to spit out webs?" Stephen Strange asked Toby's version of Peter Parker.

"I can, but not with my mouth." Toby's version of Peter Parker extended his hand, and a blob of webbing was directly spat out from his wrist.

"Wait, you can actually shoot webs?" Now it was Garfield's version of Peter Parker who was surprised.

"I, I also use a shooter. Although I'm not Spider-Man yet, I've seen videos from the future, and I also use a shooter," Holland's version of Peter Parker looked up at Toby's version of Peter Parker, "You can actually shoot webs, that's so cool!"

"This Electro, he's really strong," Toby's version of Peter Parker said, impressed by Max Dillon's power.

"Max Dillon, Max Dillon... it's him!" After watching the video for a while, Garfield's version of Peter Parker finally remembered who Electro was.

"Who?" Nick Fury asked.

"I don't actually know this person very well, we only met briefly once. I helped him when he was almost hit by a car while I was stopping a crime. I even exchanged a few words with him." Garfield's version of Peter Parker was puzzled, "He seemed quite grateful at the time, why did he become my enemy?"

"The video doesn't provide context. You might have to figure it out on your own," Steve Rogers said.

"I'll figure it out," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said, "Before he becomes Electro, I must stop him. I can sense that he's not a villain."

"This person is named Max Dillon. Do you have him in your world?" Steve Rogers asked Toby's version of Peter Parker.

"Maybe, I'm not sure. I've never seen this person before, anyway," Toby's version of Peter Parker said.

"Not the same! The Harry here is different from the Harry I know," Toby's version of Peter Parker said when he saw the appearance of the Green Goblin, "The Green Goblin's hoverboard is also different!"

"Really? What does Harry look like in your world?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker asked.

"Thick eyebrows, bright eyes, very spirited," Toby's version of Peter Parker said, "More handsome than me."

"Then let's reverse it," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said, "I'll be handsomer than Harry."

"Your world's Norman Osborn probably isn't the Green Goblin, right? I didn't hear you mention it earlier," Toby's version of Peter Parker asked Garfield's version of Peter Parker.

"He isn't," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said, "But Uncle Norman passed away due to illness."

"What kind of illness?" Toby's version of Peter Parker asked.

"The Osborn family curse, a genetic disease, reverse transcriptase virus proliferation..." Garfield's version of Peter Parker sighed, "And that's probably why he became my enemy."

"How does that work?" Stephen Strange asked.

"Harry's illness is terminal. He's about to die, and he wanted to cure his disease with my blood. But that wouldn't work at all. If he injected my blood, it could very likely kill him!" Garfield's version of Peter Parker said, "But he doesn't seem to believe that."

"Although the Harry Osborn in World 6 and the Harry Osborn in World 7 are not related, one is the Green Goblin and the other isn't, many things are consistent between Parallel Worlds 6 and 7. So..." Steve Rogers looked at Toby's version of Peter Parker, "You also need to be careful of your world's Harry. He might become your enemy too."

"I really don't want to see that day come," Toby's version of Peter Parker said, "Green Goblin was the first supervillain I encountered after becoming Spider-Man. I defeated him, and he died. I didn't actually kill him, he attacked me and accidentally got killed by his own glider. But Harry has always believed that I killed his father, and he's held a grudge against Spider-Man."

"So, this Harry might also become the Green Goblin." Steve Rogers said, "If you don't want to end up fighting your brother in the end, you should be prepared early."

"After I return to my world, I'll find Harry right away," Toby's version of Peter Parker said.

"I'll find Harry right away too and explain things to him," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said, "I really don't want what happened in the video to happen again."

"Our worlds both have Otto Octavius. So, which world does this question pertain to?" After discussing the video of Garfield's Spider-Man battling Electro, Toby's version of Peter Parker's gaze fell upon the question.

"It doesn't really matter which world it is, does it?" Bruce Banner said, "After all, the relationships and identities of Otto Octavius in your two worlds are similar, the analysis should be the same. As for who will answer in the end, you guys can decide."

"That makes sense," Toby's version of Peter Parker looked at option A and said, "I think we can rule out this option. In my career of fighting crime, I've never accidentally hurt anyone, let alone killed anyone. It has never happened before, and it won't happen in the future."

"Agreed," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said.

"Agreed," Holland's version of Peter Parker also agreed.

"As for option B, tritium?" Toby's version of Peter Parker thought for a moment and said, "I don't know why Spider-Man would trade tritium, but I know Otto Octavius might really need tritium. In some recent heavyweight papers he wrote, he mentioned an experiment related to nuclear fusion."

"Fusion reaction?" Mentioning this field, Tony Stark immediately became interested, "Did he mention how to stabilize the reaction?"

"I've been busy these past few days and didn't look into it carefully," Toby's version of Peter Parker said, "I'll take a closer look when I get back."

"If this option is correct, then regardless of who trades with Octavius, since he proposed to capture Spider-Man, it indicates that person is an enemy of Spider-Man," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said.

"Tritium? Wait a minute!" Toby's version of Peter Parker suddenly exclaimed.

"What did you remember?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker asked.

"Harry has tritium," Toby's version of Peter Parker turned to look at Garfield's version of Peter Parker, "He mentioned it during a conversation."

"Peter 7, based on what you said earlier, if Harry has always believed that you killed his father, then when Dr. Octopus went to him for tritium and he suggested capturing you, this scenario is very likely," Steve Rogers said.

"Harry, did you eventually take this step?" Toby's version of Peter Parker's face turned extremely unpleasant.

"Don't worry, this is the future, things haven't happened yet. There's still time to prevent it," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said.

"Yes, there's still time," Toby's version of Peter Parker said.

"Options C and D can't be reasoned, so let's not bother looking at them?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker said.

"This question seems to pertain to my world," Toby's version of Peter Parker looked at Garfield's version of Peter Parker and Holland's version of Peter Parker, "I'll take care of it."

Both versions of Peter Parker naturally had no objections.

"I choose option B!" Toby's version of Peter Parker made a choice.

[Correct answer! Rewards distributed!]

Three cards appeared on the ground. Toby's version of Peter Parker picked them up, each card depicting a spider.

At the moment he touched the card, all the information about the card entered his mind.

"This card can only be used by the three of us, Spider-Men." Toby's version of Peter Parker kept one card for himself and handed the other two to the other two Peter Parkers, "When one of us wants to summon the other into our world, just smear off the Spider-Man on the card with blood, and you'll be able to communicate with the Spider-Man you want to talk to. When the other agrees to travel, you can bring them into your world. The traveler can only stay in the traveled world for 24 hours, and when the time is up, they will be forcibly sent back to their original world. Oh, by the way, this card can only be used once."

"If a situation like the one in the video with multiple enemies arises, don't force it, call me anytime," Toby's version of Peter Parker said seriously to Garfield's version of Peter Parker, "Gwen is a good girl, she shouldn't meet that fate, and Harry is a good brother, his mistakes can be avoided before they happen."

"Same here, if you encounter a situation with multiple enemies, remember to call me," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said the same.

"I probably won't be that unlucky, right?" Toby's version of Peter Parker said.

"You and I, we're quite alike," Garfield's version of Peter Parker said, "Who knows, one day you might also face more than one enemy."

"Are there no other superheroes in your world except you? Do you need to find help from another world?" Scott Lang couldn't help but quip after watching this exchange, "Look at us, all of us are superheroes. If Peter has an enemy he can't handle, he can easily call in more superheroes for help. Really? Is your world that pitiful?"

"Hey, Peter, the Spider-Man of the future, you were born in a fortunate world," Garfield's version of Peter Parker crouched down and said to Holland's version of Peter Parker, "With so many superheroes, it's truly something to look forward to in this world."

"I just got a rough understanding. Here, you have the God of Thunder, a god who can control the wind and rain, make thunder. You also have sorcerers who can twist cities like Rubik's cubes, and super-genius inventors who create suits that can fly and do anything..." Toby's version of Peter Parker scanned the group of superheroes with his eyes, "This is truly a tremendously exciting world, a world teeming with heroes. Yes, it's truly something to look forward to."

"But at the same time, it's an extremely dangerous world," Scott Lang said, "Can you imagine a madman wanting to wipe out half of all life in the universe? Can you imagine a guy with a face as big as a planet wanting to devour Earth? Can you imagine a woman wanting to destroy the entire universe because of family disputes?"

"I think our original world is pretty good," both versions of Spider-Man suddenly became less envious. Compared to villains who easily destroy the universe, the villains they had encountered before, like the Green Goblin and Lizard Doctor, were quite "gentle."

Light lines appeared in the space, and the video started playing.

At the beginning of the video, Peter Parker swung on his webs in the city, landing with a clank on a giant clock face.

"Where is she?" Peter Parker asked, standing above the city with sunglasses, facing Otto Octavius.

"She'll be fine. Let's talk," Otto Octavius beckoned to Peter Parker.

Peter Parker jumped down and engaged in a fistfight with Otto Octavius.

In this aspect, Peter Parker was at a slight disadvantage because he had only two arms, while behind Otto Octavius were four mechanical arms. After a few rounds of exchanges, Peter Parker was blasted down by one of Dr. Octopus's iron claws.

Peter Parker reacted quickly, reaching out to grab a clock hand to prevent himself from falling.

Otto Octavius lowered his head and saw that one of his mechanical arms had suddenly grabbed the clock hand, snapping it in an instant.

"Ah!"

With a startled cry, Peter Parker plummeted downward, just like the snapped clock hand, staunchly upholding the dignity of gravity.

Swoosh! As Peter Parker fell, he also shot several strands of web upwards, using the web as a concealed weapon aimed at Otto Octavius's face.

Indeed, Otto Octavius was almost hit and stumbled backward from the impact.

Meanwhile, Peter Parker took advantage of this opportunity to shoot another clump of web, catching onto the large clock above. At the same time, he extended his other hand, spewing a glob of web to catch the pointer aimed at Newton's arms.

Swoosh! Peter Parker swung his arm upward, using the web to launch the pointer, narrowly grazing Otto Octavius's head and pinning it to the wall.

Otto Octavius was nearly decapitated and became furious. He easily tore the pinned pointer into two pieces with two of his mechanical arms and then shot them at Peter Parker, who was still climbing up using his web.

Peter Parker kicked away one piece of the pointer and slapped away the other, but a mechanical arm descended from above, directly smashing into his abdomen.

Before he continued his descent, Peter Parker shot two clumps of web, grabbing onto Otto Octavius. He then pulled with all his might, using the tremendous force to bring Otto Octavius down from the towering building. Both of them plummeted toward the ground.

At that moment, a train happened to pass by. Both Octopus and Spider-Man landed on the train and began battling each other on top of it.

It's important to note that there were many people on the train, and there were also many people on the platform. All these people watched in amazement as the two "monsters" fought.

They exchanged blows for several rounds. Otto Octavius's mechanical claws grabbed onto Peter Parker and flung him into the train! Peter Parker caught hold of an iron railing inside the train, swung twice, and then crashed through the glass, launching back out and continuing his battle with Otto Octavius.

This time, he still couldn't gain an advantage, and he was knocked off the train by one of Otto Octavius's mechanical claws, landing on the road.

Fortunately, Peter Parker had his web.

He immediately shot out webs and swung through the city, catching up to the train running on an elevated bridge.

Swoosh! While in mid-air, he shot a clump of web at Otto Octavius. Pulling on the web, he executed a somersault and landed on the ground. He then kicked Otto Octavius, flipping him over, and from behind, he grabbed Otto Octavius's neck.

However, Otto Octavius had too many arms. Two mechanical arms swiftly extended behind him, directly grabbing Peter Parker's two arms and forcefully pulling them apart.

Then, these two arms held onto Peter Parker's body, and with a series of "bangs," they slammed him around on the train.

This scene was all too familiar! The people inside the answer space had already witnessed it twice.

One time was when the Hulk grabbed Loki and slammed him around.

The other time was when the Hulk grabbed Thor and slammed him around.

And now, it was the third time.

Indeed, Otto Octavius tossing Peter Parker around, mirroring the iconic scene of the Hulk throwing Loki, was nearly identical!
