Chapter 71: Ch 71: Assassination

There he saw another small piece of soul, which was ten times smaller than Su Yan's piece, floating near each other. Upon concentrating on the piece, he felt a location in his mind, which he knew was in the Ash-Gray Cloud Land.

He could tell that this soul fragment belonged to Shan Qing Luo, but the question was, 'when did this happen? ... And why didn't I feel it till now?...', he then thought of the whole time he spent with Qing Luo. After some reflection he concluded, 'this might have happened because I had entered her knowledge sea and kissed her while circulating 'Primordial Trinity Unification Art'.'

His technique's third stage was the same as the Primordial Dragon Phoenix Unity Art, so when the two users performed some intimate act in their spiritual/soul form in ones knowledge sea, the technique makes a connection between them.

and as entering someone's knowledge sea 'WITH' the others permission is something someone who trusted each other with their lives allow the other to do, much less do an intimate act while in their spiritual form, the result was something Yang Feng hadn't expected.

'looks like the technique considered the kiss as an intimate act satisfactory of the condition to be met which made the connection between us. After finishing his thought, Yang Feng exited his knowledge sea. As he exited, he saw his two girls looking at him with curiousity and a bit of concern. Seeing their look he sighed and said, "well I was about to tell you two about her, but even I didn't know about the connection...."

He then told the two about Shan Qing Luo and all that happened between them. As he finished and the girls digested the information, he thought of something and asked Su Yan, "Su Yan, how were you able to feel the connection while even I overlooked it?"

Hearing this Su Yan was also a bit stunned and answered, "well, I don't know about it much. Just that when we settled down in this valley I tried to sense your location. When I was checking it, I felt another weak connection that was connected to you, and from you to me."

'So the girls will be able to feel each other's presence through my connection to them.', Yang Feng concluded about it and asked, "and what about emotions, can you pick them up as well?"

Su Yan shook her head and said, "no I can only tell that she's connected to you and I feel that even if the connection is strengthened, I will only be able to tell her location."

Yang Feng nodded slowly. He then looked at Xia Ning Chang who had been quite all this time and found her with a thoughtful look. He asked with a smile, "what's got you thinking about?"

His voice brought her out of her thoughts as she just shook her head and said, "nothing. Junior Brother, when are we leaving for the Capital City?".

"Hmm, when the other are done packing, we will leave.", to this the two girls nodded and the three continued to talk about various things for the next two hours.

When they exited the cabin, they were greeted by the site of all the remaining desciples with their belongings in hand, with the elders telling them something. Seeing the three, the elders stopped and told him that they were ready to depart.

"Yang Brat, go to the Capital City and take Xia Ning Chang with you, I'll take them to the destination and will come to the Capital City afterwards.", Yang Feng was stunned to hear Meng Wu Ya volunteering to take the people of the sect to the designated place, which he already told the others about.

He then nodded and saw as Meng Wu Ya lead the people. He didn't ask him why he wanted to lead them away nor was he complaining about it. After they were a distance away, Yang Feng turned to the four individuals standing behind him, Su Yan, Xia Ning Chang and the two Blood Warriors, and said, "Let's Go."

He and the four then flew towards the sky and headed towards Capital City. The distance between their current position and the city would take them three days with slight rest. During the first two days, they normally flew the whole day and camped in the forest at night. The next day, something unusual happened.

As they were resting in a forest, the surroundings suddenly went eerily silent. Yang Feng suddenly looked thoughtful,'will they attack? I thought I wouldn't be attacked considering that I'm not a direct blood member.'

Yang Feng who knew from the original timeline that the Yang Clan Young Lords will be attacked had been on a lookout but didn't think that he would be attacked, now it seems that he thought wrong.

The others also knew that the situation was unusual with the two blood warriors looking around warily, though the two women and Yang Feng looked nonchalant about it. It was because they knew that with their strengths, they wouldn't have any problem even with a powerful enemy, which they could feel the other side didn't have.

Besides Yang Feng the two, Xia Ning Chang and Su Yan, have also grown in strength greatly. Su Yan had reached the 9th stage Immortal Ascension Realm with her body reaching Mid-4th Tier, along with that because of the soul strengthening pill Yang Feng gave her, her soul was stronger than any Peak Immortal Ascension Realm cultivators.

On the other hand, Xia Ning Chang had also reached the 9th stage Immortal Ascension with her soul also reaching the same state as Su Yan's which was stronger than Peak Immortal Ascension Realm, but because of being an alchemist her soul was even stronger than Su Yan, reaching the threshold of Transcendent Realm. But her physique had only reached Peak of 3rd Tier.

As for the two blood warriors accompanying them, both were at 8th stage Immortal Ascension Realm and thus the weakest of the group, which they didn't knew as Yang Feng and the girls hadn't fully revealed their cultivations till now because there wasn't any need to do so, but the natural aura the blood warriors felt from the three was comparable to a High-Immortal Ascension Stage cultivator (7-8th stage).

Just as the silence was getting uncomfortable for the blood warriors, a few shadowe shot out from the bushes and trees in the surroundings. These shadows numbered more than a dozen and half of them being at Immortal Ascension Realm. Five of these Immortal Ascension Realm Shadows went towards the two guards, while the rest went towards the other three.

Caught by surprise with the sudden attacks, the blood warriors were pushed back. "Hahaha, these Yang Clan blood warriors and Young Lord. Looks like the Yang Clan is nothing much as others believe.", said one of the shadows that had attacked the blood warriors, sounding pretty arrogant.

"You bastard! You asked for this, I'll show you what the Yang Clan blood warrior is.", said one of the blood warriors. Insulting the Yang Clan in front of a blood warrior is not one of the smartest things to do as they are extremely loyal to the Yang Clan and wouldn't just listen to the Yang Clan's prestige be questioned or damaged.

The two warriors used their Mad Tyrant Blood Technique which was taught to all Yang Clan Blood Warriors. The blood warriors then attacked the five figures and engaged in close quarter combat with the attackers. The attackers, including the previous arrogant one, were pushed to their limits and had to give it their all to not die at the hands of the two warriors.

Five minutes in the battle, the attackers were not in a good state as they had many injuries and had used a great amount of their Qi's during the battle, the two warriors were also not much better, as the continuous use of Mad Tyrant Blood was quite taxing. "What the heck is taking them so damn long!", said one of the attackers, looking desperate by now.

Suddenly, they heard a loud sound from Yang Feng's side followed by a scream. Another of the attackers started laughing, "hahaha. Looks like the work is done and by the sound of it, they might have killed that Young Lord of the Yang Clan."

The faces of the blood warriors who heard this changed as they turned to sprint towards Yang Feng. But suddenly, a tree next to them broke and a body with a huge hole in it's chest fell in front of them. The laughter of the attackers suddenly stopped as they looked at the dead body of their fellow member, who was also an Immortal Ascension Realm cultivator, laying on the ground with a fist size hole in his chest and a look of terror on his face.

The heads of the attackers and the warriors turned to the path through which the body had came. On the other side they saw Yang Feng standing with one of his behind his back and the other clinched into a fist. Around him laid two more bodies, one with torn arm and leg.

They also saw Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang standing next to Yang Feng, with a few frozen statues standing in different positions and a few green bodies laying on the ground motionless. They were able to see all this because from the previous collision all the trees in between the two places were torn apart.

This scene sent a shiver down everyone's spine, especially the attackers. The attackers had previously thought that their comrades had succeeded in the assassination of the Young Lord, like how hard could it be to kill a Young cultivator with three Immortal Ascension Realm cultivators?

But they had obviously underestimated Yang Feng or more precisely, they knew next to nothing about him but still attacked him. As they looked at the bodies of their comrades, a collective thought rang in their minds 'Run!!!'

Just as they turned and prepared to escape, they felt an immense pressure placed on them, as if the whole world came crashing down on them. This pressure made them stop in their tracks, forcing them to be pushed to the ground and no matter how much they tried, they just couldn't move under that pressure.

This was the 'Conqueror's Haki' of Yang Feng that after some thinking he named 'Emperor's Might'. This was because this pressure reminded him of the Emperor Pressure from the original, albeit on a really really lower scale because of his strength. But also because it would fit right in with this world's cultivation realms and naming sense.

Yang Feng said coldly, looking at the five attackers, "you all shouldn't have attacked me in the first place, but as you did, you should have atleast gathered some information about me, you dimwits."

He then raised his hand with his Qi coming out of it and enveloping their bodies and made a grabbing motion, making the five's body to explode into blood mist, while simultaneously using his soul to obliterate their souls, completely killing them.

The two blood warriors looked at this scene with wide eyes and a bit of fear, they didn't think that Yang Feng was this powerful, he basically killed five Immortal Ascension Realm cultivators, not including the three he previously killed, in an instant. Suddenly a thought occurred to them, 'if he can kill them so easily, he could do that to us as well.'

This was a thought that randomly came to them and went as quickly. Now they looked at Yang Feng in a new light. Previously, although they respected him for his talent and high cultivation, now they were in awe of his strength.

They now knew that the person standing in front of them was someone with extraordinary strength and would definitely make an impact on the Yang Clan ... no he would make an impact on the entire world.
