Chapter 83: 1 Vs. 10

Ichiro entered his house after the morning jog.

[Host, you smell like a disappointment and failure]

'And you smell like a bunch of bad life choices.' Ichiro growled inside his mind and walked towards the kitchen.

It was around 7 A.M, and only his mother was awake.

''Good morning, son,'' Azumi said with a gentle smile while cooking the breakfast.

''Good morning,'' Ichiro said and kissed her cheek.

He walked towards the refrigerator and put the cookies inside.

''What are those?'' Azumi curiously asked.

''I got cookies from a kind old lady after I helped her a little bit,'' Ichiro replied.

Azumi nodded gently and kept cooking the breakfast, ''Can you wake up Ayako? She has to go to school early today.''

Ichiro nodded and ran upstairs.

Ichiro's room is the first one after you enter the upstairs, and Ayako's is on the left side.
