Cassie felt like her bile dissolved when she heard it. They can't use Mish in that hideous ritual. She really can't believe that there is an ancient coven that still exists today, thinking that they will have eternal life with an old glass and the blood of its owner.

"All the more reason why I need to get Mish back. Whether you like it or not, I'm involved in this war. I'm not going to hide and be silent while the enemies do something that my grandfather has abandoned. If Grandpa had not been able to dissolve the coven, I would not be like him, who would just hide and be afraid. Also, they need to pay for what they did to my daughter."
