"We'll just step outside for a bit," Don Smith interrupted the silence that filled the room we were in.

Earlier, when I confessed that I remember everything, my roommates were stunned. None of them broke the silence that surrounded us earlier. I heard my father let out a sigh. Don Smith did the same. Later, he affectionately patted his grandson on the shoulder and gave him a gentle kiss. I remained seated, simply observing them. Even Theo didn't budge from his spot, just staring at me.

"Take it easy, Cassie. Talk to him calmly," Dad advised, giving me a gentle tap on the shoulder. My father and Don Smith quietly exited the room. And as Theo and I were left alone, the tension between us immediately intensified. Neither of us uttered a word. He just gazed at me while I silently cursed myself for revealing the truth about remembering everything!
