Nervousness engulfed her once again, especially when the car came to a halt in front of the grand entrance of the mansion. The three of them stepped out one by one while she remained frozen in her seat.

"Let's go, Miss Morgan. Don Smith has been eagerly awaiting your arrival for quite some time now."

Cassie closed her eyes and winced.

Am I doing the right thing? Is it appropriate for me to speak to Don Smith without confirming everything with Dad first? But if I really think about it, it's definitely the right thing to do.

Harold mentioned that her father was talking about you when he visited their house. Harold must have seen Don Smith's men.
