Chapter 39: 38. Rainstorm.

Que tiptoed closer towards the source of light, concealed under the trees. She made sure she avoided stepping on dried leave to prevent making sounds as she move, that was easier said than done. It was close to impossible in the darkness of the night, but she somehow managed to arrive at the scene without getting caught. 

This is not what she had expected. Two large tree roots had merged together and formed a large tree cave.

From her distance from the place which was about 9 meters away, she could see the girl hovering over the source of light shrouding her. Que couldn't make out the object or what she was doing from this distance, she had to come closer. But she feared if she take any step closer she would attract the witch's attention. It only had one opening.

It was made up alot of twisted roots covered with moss and dried vines which looked a couple of centuries old. If she couldn't spy from below, she could from above.
