"My king please, if we give away everything that will be the end of the Laurent familly." Victoria said as she plead for a lessar punishment.
Victoria's pleas fell on deaf ears as Sebastian, the power-hungry advisor, walked in front of her with a sinister smile. He leaned in close to her left ear, his hot breath sending a shiver down her spine.
"You've made your choice, my dear," he whispered, "so death will be your punishment." He leaned back and turned to the king, his voice dripping with false sincerity.
"But don't worry, Your Highness," he continued with a sly grin, "even in death, I will still take everything from the Laurent family." He bowed mockingly before sauntering back to his seat in the courtroom and leaving Victoria trembling with fear for her life and her family's legacy. The king's decision was clear – execution or worse. It was all because Sebastian refused to show even a sliver of kindness towards Victoria and Cedric.
