Chapter 91: friends hang out

Lilian was surprised for only a moment before she turned her back to Aiden again. Ryan quickly sensed that something was off.

Aiden hadn't anticipated running into Lilian and was momentarily speechless upon seeing her.

Ryan's smile faded as he noticed Lilian seemed unwilling to speak to Aiden.

"You're here, Lilian?" Aiden asked, forcing a smile to ease the awkwardness. He wasn't sure if his words made any sense.

He saw her sitting down and still questioned her presence—obviously, she was there, given that she was seated.

"Mm..mm," Lilian grunted, not turning to face him, completely ignoring him as she focused on her juice.

Ryan and Aiden exchanged a few pleasantries before Aiden walked away. Once he left, Ryan asked Lilian if there was an issue between her and Aiden.
