Yu Mei stood in front of the mirror as she moisturized her hands absent-mindedly. She glanced at Jun Zixuan through the mirror before turning around and walking towards him. 

She climbed on the bed and sat next to him. 

''What's on your mind?" He tilted his head from his phone to look at her. 

''I never thought that they will be my parents,'' She blinked. 

He raised his hand and tucked the loose strands of her hair behind her ear, ''You want to meet them?" 

She pursed her lips and after a few seconds, she shook her head, ''No, if I go there and if any day they come to know of the truth, things will be very complicated,'' she firmly said. Even though there was no chance of them knowing the truth, but she still did not want to risk anything, ''I don't want Jian Yu to go through anything that makes him uneasy.''
