Brian's facial expression showed that he wasn't expecting her question, as if the answer was rather too palpable, nevertheless, he answered, "I acquired it from the cops."

Eva's mouth widened and then she questioned, not giving herself the liberty to think once which was rather a cause for her disturbed state, "How would an ordinary student of a university receive footage of a murder scene from the cops?" However, before she could await his answer, she sighed subconsciously, a look of reprimand marring her innocent face. "How would I have skipped that?" She looked at him, "That you can do anything when you have the money?"

He nodded, now satisfied that she understood how he got it. He asked, his reason for changing the discussion palpable, "Eva, how do you feel now? Is the injury hurting you? Do you think it is already infected?"

Eva, not answering his present question, said instead, "I will repay you."
