Chapter 9: The Last Kingdom Pillar

Voran spends his time at the royal library learning about the world he currently lives in after secretly forming a new government. He also ordered his thoughts. Despite the fact that he had made the decision to accept his new persona. He was still pondering the world he had left behind. Of course, it's not because of the people he cares about, but rather because of his past and existence without a family. Yes, he had lost his entire family since he was in elementary school, so a life full of people watching after him felt strange to him.

"This world is not the same size as the Earth, but it is considerably larger. Despite the fact that this Kingdom is surrounded by four kingdoms, there are still many unknown areas. Bandits, sects, organizations, and certain groups can all become rulers of a territory, not just kings. All of this is interestingly documented in this book. It's quite beneficial knowledge. If there is such a thing as ki energy, inner energy, or mana cultivation in this world. So there's a lot more to it than that. I need to know everything for the sake of my own survival and the survival of this kingdom!!"

Voran not only casually muttered it, but he also considered it after comparing the circumstances to occurrences he had read about in novels or literature. Even if it wasn't exactly accurate, he considered it and used it as a metaphor for the predicament he was in now. He was only doing his best to sustain his tiny life in the face of a circumstance that was a little incomprehensible to him.

The hardest part was that Voran had never met him before, but he understood one thing. His standard of living would increase and he would be able to live a more serene existence if he could improve the state of his kingdom. The surrounding kingdoms posed a tremendous danger, but Voran was unconcerned. The reason was obvious: the strongest and most dangerous opponents were those who were close to him and appeared trustworthy, not those who were far away. It is preferable to tackle a problem that is already visible rather than worrying about something that is unclear.

"If only I had the ability to take him..." Voran had a gloomy and sorrowful expression on his face since he had thought about something. He couldn't forget about it forever, but he couldn't be upset by it either. As a result, Voran set the subject aside and hid it. He concentrated all of his thoughts and energies on the difficulties that afflicted his realm at the time. Despite the fact that various thoughts passed his head, he continued to read the books at the library and spent the entire day there.

Voran developed black hollows around his eyes after spending too much time at the royal library. He didn't take his eyes off any book that had knowledge about the planet he now lived in, despite the fact that he needed to recharge his energy. Thankfully, this library contains a wide range of literature, including tales from other kingdoms. Voran gained a better understanding of the world he lived in by reading some of them.

The next day, he exited the library and encountered an elderly man dressed in the black robes worn by scholars. Despite being dressed in attire that are commonly worn by academics or politicians. That figure exerted a tremendous amount of pressure on Voran. The pressure gradually increased, and the old guy began to emit a hint of his aura.

Voran was absolutely taken aback when he detected his aura and had no idea what to do. When he was ready to say something to the figure, though. Suddenly, a memory came flooding back to him. Memories of the person standing in front of him. Voran had not anticipated meeting him so soon. He had estimated that meeting this individual would take a little longer, but he was entirely incorrect.

Voran couldn't keep the pressure on the figure for long when he saw it. The old man's figure exuded a frightening atmosphere and pressure. Despite the fact that he was in danger, Voran didn't believe the elderly guy had any malice toward him. It seemed as if the man was putting him to the test to see whether he wanted to mend anything that wasn't right in the kingdom. Voran could see the old man's desire just by looking at him. That he knew once his recollections of the old guy came flooding back to him.

"Oh... it's only fitting that he exuded such an atmosphere after meeting me." Despite the fact that the possessor of this body was not particularly awful, he performed things that a Crown Prince or a Prospective King should not do. As a candidate for King, this man is more concerned with seeking beauty than with the difficulties that plague the realm. Otherwise, this kingdom would not have had the three of them. Oh my gosh... that's awful!! It's impossible for me to imagine."

"Is there something wrong with me, Your Majesty?" The old man spoke in a voice that wasn't chilly but yet didn't exhibit any warmth. He also had a completely average expression on his face, the kind that only ordinary grandparents could have. "Ever since you met me, you've been quiet." "Do you think there's a problem with me?"

Voran took a breath and returned the elderly man's stare, demonstrating his leadership ability. Voran did not back down in the face of this elderly guy, and with a determined expression on his face, he took a step forward. "Nothing, but I sense you've become stronger; have you broken through, Larsson?"

Grim Larsson was an elderly man with long white hair that was nicely tied up and a smooth face for his age. His eyes were as piercing as an eagle's and usually glowed with a deep gleam; his face was lean yet exuded a feeling of grace that was almost manly. His arms weren't particularly large, but after his garments were removed, his muscles, which resembled sculptures on a monument, emanated his allure. He is also quite tall, with a well proportioned figure.
