Chapter 17: Goodnight

The drunk guy ended up getting beaten to a pulp. When he would wake up later, he would suffer from hungover and body pain.

Alpha Matteo and I were escorted out of the pub despite him being an Alpha. I texted Aunt Maurice not to look for me.

Supposedly, I was going to walk home alone. But the arrogant wolf forced me to hop inside his car. Oliver wasn’t with him, which told me he came here on his own accord.

There was no way that his beta would know where Aunt Maurice and I had gone. We left after everyone else did.

I wanted to ask where he had disappeared to. He never returned, and I thought he must have left without saying goodbye.

But now this.

He was back to confusing me. I haven’t forgotten his ill-treatment and the hurtful words he used. I might have been be attracted to him for reasons I couldn’t explain, but I couldn't excuse him for his terrible personality.
