Chapter 28: Rest

He rolled on the ground and soon came to a stop; he looked around frantically but was once again flung away by an attack.

This process was repeated a bunch of times before Enopy was able to see his opponent.

"Huh," Enopy blurted out in surprise when he realized that his opponent was Dontavius' grandma.

He was unable to dodge or fight back; he was left with piles after piles of injuries, but he refused to fall unconscious.

Enopy waved his sword at multiple spots at once and ran, hoping to flee with the time he had bought himself.

Suddenly his senses screamed as a soul-piercing danger crept upon him.

"STOP!" a voice rang out, and the danger that haunted Enopy disappeared.

Enopy stopped and turned around, his pupils shrunk, when he saw Dontavius' grandmother locked in orange chains right behind him. Her hand seemed as if it was about to grasp him.

Enopy soon turned his attention to the flying Kaito who held her. Kaito descended to the ground, placed the chains down, and reinforced them in place.

"Why didn't you fly the whole journey?" Enopy said with a wary expression.

Kaito looked at Enopy and said, "it's a gift from Sirius."

"Old lady!," their conversation was cut short by Sirus's shout, "you know the rules. Don't get imprisoned because of your anger."

"He..he killed him h..he needs to DIE!" She screamed as her eyes never left Enopy.

"Samantha Ex!, more deaths will not bring back Dontavius," Sirius yelled.

"I don't care!" She screamed back.

"Huuu," Sirius sighed as he shook his head soon after he looked at his bracelet.

Less than ten minutes later a couple of guards appeared.

"Yes, sir!" The four peak rank two guards said in unison as they kneeled down.

"Take Samantha away to a comfortable cell until I say otherwise. Provide her with what she needs," Sirus quickly gave his commands before he turned his attention away to Enopy.

"Don't worry, Enopy will no longer cause problems," Kaito said quickly when he noticed Sirus walking towards Enopy.

Soon after Sirus appeared in front of Enopy and raised his hand to waist level.

"Calm-" Kaito wanted to say something but was stopped by Sirus waving his hand.

"Good job out there, but I don't understand why you didn't use your core fragrance immediately," Sirius said as he kept his hand raised, waiting for Enopy to shake it.

"I've only fought with my aura or my body fragrance, so I wanted to continue doing that. I have estimated that I can fight middle stage rank two, but it seems, that would only be mindless rank twos, and I was almost forced to my limit by someone of the same rank, so fighting rank twos at my level is suicidal." Enopy said as he shook his head in disappointment.

"Oh well, now you know, don't, be, too, arrogant," Sirius said as he dropped his hand and flew into the air as Kaito followed.

"Go to your house and rest," Kaito said as he slowly floated higher up.

Enopy turned and walked away without responding to Kaito; he walked to the tunnel he saw the same guards and walked towards them.

"Oh, you're still alive; it's been so long I thought you died," the tall guard said as he inspected Enopys injuries and smiled.

"I'm surprised you're able to breathe," the tall man said as he saw Enopy twisted arm that still held his sword, his broken ribs, and the various scars all over his body revealed by his torn kimono.

"Give me a map of the city," Enopy ordered with a solemn expression as he forced himself to stay awake.

"We can't give you a map of the whole city, but you can get a map of the third circle," the man said.

"Ok," enopy said as he showed no care.

The guard held out his hand and said, "point card," as he smiled.

Enopy handed his point card to the guard.

The guard scanned the card and looked at the Machine; the huge number made his pupils shrink.

"200,000! How is this possible?" the guard blurted out "it's only been two days."

"Give me, the map," Enopy said with a constrained voice.

"Fine, fine," the guard said as he pushed his curiosity deep into his heart; he soon handed Enopy a cognition orb with a Circular map.

Enopy took the orb and his card; he sent his consciousness into the orb and walked away, following the directions seen on the map.

Half an hour later he found himself in front of a two-story white marble house, he showed his card to a camera on the door and was let in.

He walked inside the house; his sight was filled with white marble and wood furniture. He walked over to a small table beside a black couch and picked up a cognition orb he put the orb up to his forehead and a list of instructions was revealed to him.

"Windows," he said as rectangular spaces of the house turned transparent.

"Windows off," he said, and the spaces turned back to white marble.

The ceilings seemed to be infused with Chiaroscuro particles but Enopy was too exhausted to care, so he stormed up the stairs and leaped onto his bed.

"Dark," he commanded, and the room turned dark, helping him enter a deep slumber.

He had faced countless attacks, received a bunch of injuries, and was forced to use his energy for days to keep his opponent from attacking him; it wasn't as long as the journey over the mountains, but it required much more movement and dealt a lot of stress, causing enopy to sleep through the whole day and wake up in the middle of the night.

"I have used almost all of my core energy, and I don't have a lot of time to let it amass energy on its own like before. Also, I want to fill the fragrance cores that I got from Dontavius. What am I going to do after I flee? I can't kill kai; it's not possible so I'll throw that idea out the window," Enopy said as he sat on his bed and contemplated on what he should do.

"Well, I'll take care of this first," Enopy said as he leaped off his bed and ripped off his torn kimono; he searched in his space ring and soon took out a black kimono with a dark silver lining, then he went downstairs and searched his huge fridge where he pulled out a massive sheep leg and took out a huge pot he planned to cook soup in.

"System, show me everything about the training facility," Enopy said as he prepared for the rush of scenes that would soon be seen in his head.
