Chapter 1: What She Did Not Know
By a large blue lake, there stood a lonely white house.It was old and run down, but it had it's own charm.The sort of charm that comes with something that has many memories.
But if you went inside this large and lonely white house, you would notice that the ground and floors were run down by many footprints, the hinges creaked from over-use, and overjoyed laughter always filled the halls.
Because even though the large white house that stood on the edge of the large blue lake seemed lonely, it was in fact, not.
There was a tall and strict looking woman who always sat by the lake, watching over the children who ran around full of energy.If you looked closer, you would see that although she looked strict and demanding she loved her children dearly.And not far away, you would see the father of the house, coming home from work in a rusted truck.His face was wrinkled from smiling and laughing.He was was a man with a dry sense of humor but a strong sense of loyalty, the family was safe thanks to him.
And not far away, you could find three children running and laughing merrily, oblivious to any danger that there might be.Not that there was any danger though.Because although the house was lonely and only had a few neighbors, it was safe and quiet.And that is the most important thing to the joyful family of five.
However, in the attic of the large white house by the lake, you would find someone who thought otherwise.
Because the youngest daughter of the house, Camila Bell, who was only 14 at the time and much too mature for her age, was incredibly bored.She flipped through heavy books listlessly, looking for something to entertain herself.She had no care for the laughter and happiness outside, because to her, no matter what she did, everything was dull and grey.
She sat among the dust and dirt in the attic, waiting for something that could grab her attention for even a small moment.
But what the bored Camila did not know was that she was about to die a very dull and anti-climatic death.
