Chapter 1: Introduction

I was not the best of students growing up. I use to go to a place called aldera junior high (ajh). I remember we had a quirk talent show. there were a lot of quirks there and they seemed very promising. that talent show seemed cool until it came to my turn. something to note was I was not very popular but had that friend group that consisted of 7 people, but that kinda changed quickly. I went up to show my quirk and all it was is I was able to summon a stupid looking book that was blank. naturally, being young I was made fun of. I slowly grew to realize that my quirk was not just being able to make a book appear. there was a time when I got bullied and this guy had a quirk called manipulation. the quirk allowed him to make someone copy his own movements that are in a 3 ft radius. he used his quirk to make a classmate and him beat me up while his 2 friends watched. I remembered that all I wanted to do so badly was to be able to make a barrier between me and him. the next thing that happened was he stopped punching me I simply thought he was just done but I quickly found out that wasn't the answer. what had actually happened was my book had appeared but appeared to start flipping to the first page and as I looked at it wind flew from the book and I turned back to the bully who was in shock and he turned to me and had to begin to punch me again but as his punch got close the wind formed into a small circle. it was very transparent and hard to see but was definitely there. as the bully kept trying to punch me I started to get very tired as each shield formed eventually the bully had stopped and left but a minute had passed and I had passed out on the floor. I woke up in the infirmary and as I wondered why I was there the nurse had told me someone found passed out in the playground with bruises. I had asked who but she said she was told not to say who did it. which was something I found odd. I went home shortly after too my house. I lived with my dad because my mom died when I was very young. I told my dad what happened and he seemed very concerned he wanted to take me out of the school but I begged him not to because even though that school was not the best I would cost money to go anywhere else and we were not poor but didn't have a lot of money for going to a different school. he eventually understood and I went to bed. as I was laying down I realized that my book did something during the fight so as I summoned it the book actually had a text. but the text was very hard to read. I tried making it out but the only thing I could make out was this number 2, I knew i wasn't ganna get anywhere and just went to bed. later in life, my quirk was classified as wind barrier I could summon a wind barrier from a book in expense for energy I could manage to make the barrier bigger but it made the barrier more fragile. well now you're all caught up to the present day I can't wait for what happens next.
