Chapter 171: CH 160: Shrek school VS Tian Shui school
"Which team will win? The Shrek team with two soul kings with all century millennium soul rings? Or the seven members of the Tian Shui school? Both teams get ready! Start!"
The announcer girl announced before she flew away. All kinds of colors filled the Soul Arena as Ali, Zhuqing and the members of the Tian Shui school released their martial souls.
Ali didn't take his hands out of his pockets as his body changed. He became an actual demon with 3 pairs of horns, 3 pairs of small wings under his ears, 3 pairs of wing hands behind him, 3 long and thorny tails, and dragon heads at the end of his hairs.
As he opened his eyes, his terrifying blood red soul rings rose from his feet to his head before coming down and floating around his legs as he stood there, as nonchalant as ever.
Zhuqing also released her martial soul as a black with dark purple lines jacked Jaguar with a pair of wings and horns and the word "Chaos" written on its forehead in a bright dark purple light appeared behind her and a pair of phantom like black and dark purple wings appeared on her back. Her mortifying blood red soul rings also rose from her feet to her head before descending to her feet and floating around her legs.
The members of the Tian Shui school had also released their martial souls and soul rings, but other than Shui Bing'er's Ice Phoenix martial soul, there wasn't anything special. Well, there was Xue Ye Slim Dance Snow Decoration martial soul which was just snow, but there wasn't anything else.
All of their martial souls were ordinary or just good, and all of their soul rings were the standard soul rings of a "genius". Shui Bing'er's Ice Phoenix was a top class martial soul that was on the same level as the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, but it was still nothing in front of Ali and Zhuqing.
Even though they knew about Ali and Zhuqing's soul rings, the members of the Tian Shui school couldn't help but gulp nervously at the sigh. Two people, both over level 50, both with top class martial souls, and both with all century millennium soul rings!
It would be weird if they weren't anxious. Before they could move, Ali sighed in boredom :"Look, let's not waste any time. I'm not telling you to surrender, I'm telling you to go ahead and use your biggest move.
We all know how the battle is going to end, so you might as well just get on with it, stop wasting time, and prevent your teammates from getting injured. Because believe me, I don't care if you're girls, these hands are gender neutral, they're rated E for everyone."
Shui Bing'er looked at him with a serious gaze as she snorted :"We won't know that till we try. Don't think that you've won before the fight has even started. Attack!"
Ali sighed in annoyance as he rolled his eyes :'Oh my fucking omniverse, why are some people like this?' As the members of the Tian Shui school rushed towards the two, neither of them moved as Shui Bing'er called out :"First soul skill, Ice Bound."
Icicles moved from her feet towards the two lovers at an incredible speed before they reached the two even faster than the attackers and completely froze them.
The audience was shocked by both the soul skill and the fact that neither Ali or Zhuqing moved or defended against it. The moment the attackers reached them and attacked them though, both of them immediately broke free from their ice cage.
As the ice cages turned into ice dust, Ali kept his word as he clenched his fist and punched one of the girls that were attacking him straight in the guts.
The girl spit a mouthful of blood and bent down as Ali spun in place and kicked another girl in the side, definitely breaking a few things before she was shot away.
He snorted at the girl beside him before he punched her in the face with the back of his fist. The girl fell to the ground, coughing before Ali kicked her in the guts and she was shot away with a few injuries.
Zhuqing wasn't just watching either, the moment she got out of the ice cage with almost no difficulty, She used her 5th soul skill, Charging and then her 2nd soul skill, Hell Claws to take care of the approaching attackers in a split second!
Of course, she didn't use the full power of her 2nd soul ring to attack them 6,400 times. Forget about killing them, their corpses would probably disappear entirely if she did that...
With four of the Tian Shui school taken down, Ali tilted his head and cracked his neck as he sighed in boredom while looking at the shocked Shui Bing'er :"See? You could've just used your biggest move that Huo Wu had told us about instead of getting your teammates beaten up."
"So you already know about it, huh?" Shui Bing'er got even more serious as she looked at Xue Wu before they both nodded at each other :"Fine then, you better be careful."
The two girls hugged each other as their soul powers began to flow towards each other and mix together. Both of them disappeared and flew into the sky as blue lights before they mixed with each other and an icy cloud appeared in the sky!
The third girl started to walk away and left the platform as the audience watched in shock and so did the Shrek members :"Martial soul fusion skill?!"
The cloud began to spin as something began to appear. Suddenly, a pair of icy wings spread from the center of the cloud as the arena actually began to freeze!
"This freezing ability is too powerful!" The announcer girl let out as even people in the audience began to freeze slowly. She quickly looked at a few girls that were working in the Soul Arena and ordered :"Go and initiate the defensive cover quickly!"
One of the girls nodded as she quickly rushed towards the "computer" and "typed" some things before a "holographic" shield appeared around the arena...
Suddenly, there was a loud cry of a bird as an ice phoenix appeared in the sky much to almost everyone's shock as the announcer girl reported :"It's the mighty beast martial soul, Ice Phoenix!"
As the Ice Phoenix flapped its wings and stayed flouting in the sky, Shui Bing'er warned with worry :"Get away quickly! The phoenix is too powerful!"
"Hahaha, you're a kind girl, but you're also funny." Ali let out with an amused chuckle as he shook his head and looked at Zhuqing as he raised his hand :"My love, should we show them what real power is?"
Zhuqing smiled gently as she nodded and grabbed Ali's hand :"Let's." Suddenly, their soul powers also began to flow towards each and fuse at a terrifying speed before they both disappeared and fused together.
"ROOOAAAR!!!" A jacked, black and dark purple jaguar tens of meters tall with 3 pairs of horns, 3 pairs of small wings under its ears, 3 pairs of wing hands behind it, 3 long and thorny tails, and the character "Majesty" on its forehead appeared as it let out a powerful and bone shaking roar!
The eyes of almost everyone in the audience went wide in shock as a single sentence left their mouths at the same time :"Martial soul fusion skill?!"
Shui Bing'er's and Xue Wu were also extremely shocked as well as they stared at the terrifying giant jaguar that was ready to just crush the two girls under its razor sharp teeth.
Shui Bing'er didn't waste anymore time as she descended towards the black and dark purple jaguar with everything the Ice Phoenix had. The jaguar snorted as it opened its mouth and charged up for an energy attack. <Like toothless from How To Train Your Dragon>
As the malicious black and dark purple energy gathered inside its giant mouth, the Ice Phoenix flew down towards them. However, the attack of the Chaos Nephilim Jaguar was far quicker as it roared and a giant energy beam was shot towards the income Ice Phoenix.
Shui Bing'er tried to dodge, but the energy beam was extremely fast and hit them in a split second as it completely obliterated the Ice Phoenix and even destroyed the barrier around the arena when it hit it.
"AAAAHHHH!" Two shouts were heard as the beam that didn't end when it hit the Ice Phoenix finally disappeared as Shui Bing'er and Xue Wu fell down on the ground.
Obviously, Ali and Zhuqing weren't planning on killing the two, so the giant beam was just to show off and didn't really hurt them much. They would recover after a few days.
As the girls laid down without moving, obviously unconscious from both the powerful attack and their exhausted soul power, Chaos Nephilim Jaguar snorted softly before it began to glow and then disappeared.
Ali and Zhuqing appeared on the stage side by side once again as the audience watched in complete shock. Two martial soul fusion skills had appeared in a single match, and one was even between two soul kings with all century millennium soul rings!
It would be extremely weird if they weren't shocked. Ali glanced at the announcer girl with nonchalance as he raised an eyebrow :"Hey, are you going to announce the results or not?"
The announcer girl quickly pulled herself together as she spoke into her microphone :"Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the final round of the preliminary, is Shrek school!"
Ali and Zhuqing smiled at each other as they nodded and held each other's hand before interlocking their fingers and walking away. As they walked back, the other Shrek members came to them instead.
"Boss Ali, that was so awesome!" Ma Hongjun almost screamed as he and Oscar came to his right :"Right, right, boss Ali! Fatty is right, that was just awesome! You and sister-in-law went there and completely destroyed their martial soul fusion skill with your own martial soul fusion skill!"
Zhuqing blushed slightly at the name as Erlong walked behind them and hugged both of them with a smile :"Good job, you two! You really showed them who are the truly powerful ones."
Ali chuckled and Zhuqing giggled as Erlong kissed both of them on the cheek. The boys watched with jealousy at their flirt act before Yu Xiaogang looked at Ali with a hardened gaze :"Ali, why did you reveal your martial soul fusion skill instead of finishing the match quickly?
You were supposed to keep your martial soul fusion skill a secret so that it could be used in the face of a truly powerful opponent like the team of the Martial Soul Hall."
"Why?" Ali asked with a raised eyebrow as he looked at Yu Xiaogang as if looking at a bug :"Because I wanted to, that's why."
"You!" Yu Xiaogang let out as he gripped the cane in his hand even tighter :"You can't just do whatever you want to do. That's why we plan ahead before the matches!"
Ali snorted with a smirk as he tilted his head :"Why would I need to get stronger if not for wanting to be able to do whatever I want whenever I want? I'm in the Continental Soul Master School Elite Tournament simply for the fun of it. So why would I not have fun? And in my mind, showing off is a great way of having fun."
"You...!" Yu Xiaogang glared at Ali before Erlong looked at him with a hardened gaze, shutting him up :"Cousin Xiaogang, what's your problem? Ali and Zhuqing simply had a little fun, that's all. We will be able to win the entire Continental Soul Master School Elite Tournament anyway, so the kids might as well have some fun."
