Chapter 1: Day in the life of an Otaku who wants to die
Ok, so some would say that my dream is a little creepy as weird, but come on, who doesn't wish to die and be reborn in their favourite anime... Right? someone has to think that would be a pretty cool thing to happen... No... Fine, it a just me then, but it would still be cool, think about it, waking up in limbo with God giving you a wish, you saying that you want to be reincarnated into an anime world... No, still just me... *sigh* maybe I've read a little too many Webnovels.
But to me that would be a pretty cool thing to happen, getting one of my wishes granted, finally escaping this shit hole that is earth, it's truly the one this I want to happen, we'll that and the genocide of half the human race, but that's only because they are a bunch of assholes.
These thoughts aren't that uncommon for me either, right now is just an ordinary Wednesday with me and my cat just sitting in my custom made chair opat my computer are-watching my favourite anime, Danmachi.
Danmachi, or Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon, is an anime/manga where the gods descended to the lower world and gave the humans 'the blessing', the ability to fight monsters and grow stronger.
It's an otaku's dream to go to an anime world, and that's what I am, an Otaku, I love anime, I don't really do anything else other than watch anime and read manga, I only ever go outside because the view from my apartment is pretty good and I also like the dark, it just gives me a comfortable feeling when I'm surrounded by shadows and darkness, it's soothing.
Now, where was I... oh yes, Danmachi, the anime follows the adventures of Bell as he makes his way down into the dungeon to become stronger, the side characters were ok as well, There was a horny Goddess, a short furry, a red-headed blacksmith, a scary elf maid, and a another horny God that is also the embodiment of assholes, and that's just some of them.
It may sound like I'm playing their personalities down a bit and making hem out to be a bunch of idiots, but that's not the case at all, I'm just describing them the best way I know how, the insults.

... Ok I'm not the nicest person, but I still have feelings so don't go smack talking me readers, I've got an image as the MC of this book to protect, less I be replaced with a completely different person... The authors is kind of an idiot.

Back to real life though, mine life isn't that good, it's part of the reason I want to die, that and I hate my self, but that's a problem for my next life, right now I'm on my balcony looking over the New York skyline, I may be a terrible person, but I can still appreciate a good scenery.
I looked over the edge of my balcony, I was about twenty stories up in the sky and at the bottom of the drop was a car park.
I slowly stepped closer to the edge of the balcony, I put my hands on the railing and leaned forward, the bars creaked as my bodies weight was pressed against the bars.
I wanted to do it, I wanted to die, but I just couldn't, it was like something was holding me back, like I was being held back by a great bolder and no matter how hard I pulled the rope that tied me to the bolder wouldn't break.
But then I got a call from my sister "Hey Amanda, what is it that you need this time?" I asked bluntly, because it was always something with her, if it wasn't money, it was that she wanted to stay at my place, or she wanted me to pay her rent for her.
"Cant I just call my favourite brother from time to time?" she asked "no you can't. now tell me what you want before I hang up" I said annoyedly "*sigh* I need you to hide someone for me, her name is KC and I really like her, but If Emily finds out about her shell dump me" she said, this was another thing about my dear sister, she was a total player, she had dated three girls behind her current girlfriends back and she was dangerously close to finding out.
"... No" I said, then before she could react I hanged up on her.
I was sick of my sister coming to me with her problems she used me and I you, not say no, she was my sister, and as much as I hated it, she was family.
I looked back down at the ground and leaned on the railings again, this time only harder.
In an instant, I felt my whole world go upside down, literally, I had broken the bars and fell off my balcony.
As I fall to my death, one thought was running through my head 'I wonder how Danmachi would end?'
