Chapter 74: No one saw her

The moment Vincent turned to go down the stairs, he spotted Orson standing right there at the base. The butler looked at the master of this estate coming down and gave him a gentle bow. 

"Who was with Prudence in the greenhouse?" Vincent did not waste a second with his inquiry. 

He had been harsh on Prudence because she needed to understand how severe the matter was. She might be quite comfortable attracting trouble, but simple trouble in his world would bring death any time of the day. He could see how much she was in shock. It wasn't false that Vincent had assumed that she tried to take her own life. However, he had figured it out pretty soon that it wasn't her. And when it came to people who wanted to show her the heaven's way, there weren't any fewer candidates.

Orson thought carefully before he spoke, "I had not seen her leave, but one of the guards had mentioned it was Lady Lilian."
