My brows furrowed as soon as she said that. Tiffany being pregnant and claiming the baby was mine had to be one of the biggest embarrassments I could imagine. The very thought sent a chill down my spine, a cold dread settling over me like a heavy cloak. It was as if the ground had been pulled from beneath my feet, leaving me stumbling in a world suddenly turned upside down.

"I would never allow Tiffany to be pregnant and carry my child. I don't want my baby to turn out deformed like her," I muttered to myself, the words tasting bitter on my tongue. The mere suggestion of such a possibility was enough to make my blood boil with anger and frustration. My mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions, ranging from disbelief to outright denial.
