Chapter 230: Jiang Xiu hiding something from her sister

"Xifeng, are you all right?" Jiang Xiu, who observed Fu Xifeng clutching her chest, couldn't resist asking.

Fu Xifeng turned towards her and whispered, "Your sister has a way with words—and I'm too easily pleased, especially when they come from her."

Jiang Xiu chuckled and responded, "I think she's like that with people she's close to."

"You think so?" Fu Xifeng asked with a raised brow, noting Jiang Xiu's uncertain tone.

"I'm not really sure but that's what I've noticed so far," Jiang Xiu responded, her tone carrying a hint of embarrassment because it seems like she doesn't know her sister that well.

"Why didn't you just go to New Hope Hospital?" Jiang Yue inquired from the other end of the phone.

Jiang Yue studied the distance from the current hospital the two were in to the filming set and comparing it to New Hope Hospital's proximity; the latter was much closer.
