Madam General: Journey to Space

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

"Madam it is time", the lady being called is standing by the observatory glass made to protect against the vacuum space. With the height of 5 feet 9 inches and her slanted eyes makes her more intimidating.

Sighing from her position shows how tired she was of dealing with people who they called the poison of the society. "Is everything ready for the 'said' meeting?", ask the lady while not turning her head to her assistant.

"I am afraid that President McMurphy will be there to strike the opportunity to talk to you" said the fairly looking but capable assistant. Wearing a black suit, brown highlighted short hair, taller than her by 2 inches her secretary looks respectable but loyal. Hearing the statement, the lady in her usual get up of tight black pants, knee-high combat black boots, sleeveless collared black shirt, knee-length unbuttoned black collared coat with two golden stars in each end of the collar along with the pinned medals she wore on her right chest, and officer hat which shows her rank with the highest among her empire, turned around to face her assistant.

"Let's get going then Major-General Elec" she said after which the assistant gave her a respectful bow signifying his respect for her boss or rather the empire's empress. "Yes, Madam General" and then he opened the door revealing a purplish colored dimension which leads to the said meeting place. The two said individual went inside and closed the door locking it on the way as to prevent anyone to open it without they key.

On the other side of the door, they were met with people who have the aura of authority sitting on each desk with their flags hanging on their mini pole on the top of their desk which signifies which country they came from. Madam General along with Major-General Elec went to their designated seats and sat down. There on her desk was a small pole where signifies her empire's flag. The flag was of dark blue color with the Solar system in white color in the center which was tilted for 45 degrees with a roaring ether drake's head coming from its left side facing the solar system. This flag makes every country leader who are in the meeting room reminded them that this strong individual did not came from Earth but rather in the space.

Her very existence proved that aliens does truly exist and are roaming in their planet. The invasion that happened 10 years ago will always remain in the human history where their beloved planet was almost conquered by the other intelligent beings if it is not for the Empire that this so called 'Madam General' coming to their aide and defeating the enemies who invaded the Earth.

A man in his fifties stood up and went to the podium wearing gray suit paired with black tie and shoes. His hair was grey in color but was fixed to a slick style to match his formal attire. After assuring that every person invited to the event is already in their designated seats, he began his speech.

"I welcome you all to the Annual Global Country Assembly. As the United Nations' Secretary-General, I thank you all for attending this event and giving your time just for this day. Today I welcome the Solaris Empire and its empress Madam General for joining us today in this event and her secretary Major-General Elec who assist us and coordinate with us to achieve this event", a woman in her military outfit stood up from her position so that everyone can see her.

Everybody turned their heads towards the woman with her military outfit. She has a beautiful face with plump pink small lips, shoulder length black hair styled in beach wave, pointed nose and snow as white smooth skin without any blemish that will make every girl in the room think that it is so unfair for her to have such nice skin complexion. Her slanted eyes and black pupils, a clean drawn eyebrow with a poker face which makes her more intimidating. The country leaders felt that there was a heavy pressure on their shoulders which makes them want to prostrate themselves in front of her, despite having beautiful and fragile looking face.

She bowed as to give respect towards the authorities in present without changing her emotion and sat down. Her secretary did the same thing. "As we move on towards the topics that will be tackled this year's assembly please look at the documents that will be handing out to each everyone of you for reference", then on the big flat screen flashed the presentation that will be discussed during the event.

Getting a light smack from her head, Madam General woke up from her precious dream. She looked at Elec with a death glare who just shrugged his shoulders with a smirk on his lips. "What?", said the woman with a slight anger in her voice who's about to swallow the person in front of her. "You are going to be called later for the award that this planet will give you so be ready", said Elec whilst handing the papers needed for the assembly.

Scanning the documents, a frown formed on her face. "The statement here is really annoying. Why would they want me to be under them? Like heck! Know their place! They don't even have a spaceship or technology yet they have the guts to bring us under them on the pretext of protecting their planet? How absurd" said the Madam General who is about to storm off the assembly hall and walk away and just sleep in her bedroom.

"Well, we can't blame them. They only want to protect what's theirs and not to repeat the tragedy 10 years ago, so they want our cooperation with the development of the Earth's technology" said Elec while reading the other documents pertaining politics and whatnot. "Geez after protecting weak planets for a long time and concealing our identity towards them they sure are very untrusting don't they?" the Madam General said as she lean on the chair's cushion to relax her body.

"And now to the last part of the event, I would like to congratulate Madam General for receiving this medal as a symbol of gratitude on what she did on Atlantic Incident happened 10 years ago. Madam General if it is ok with please head to the stage to receive the medal", said the Secretary-General.

Madam General went to the stage to receive the medal. After some picture-taking and some speeches coming from her and Secretary-General, the meeting was dismissed. Exiting the meeting hall, the leaders went to the venue/party for some relaxation and politics talks. Madam General sat on one of the chairs and observe her surroundings. 'Its been a while since I have seen Earth, I wonder if the people here would be like if they knew that I was actually a human before turning into this', she thought while drinking and eating the food served to her.

Elec seeing her in deep-thinking seems to know what she is thinking. He smiled and continue to eat.

A man in his early forties sat down in front of Madam General, stopping her from eating the food and look at the man. The same thing happened to her secretary. Annoyed expression could be seen on both of their faces and frowns afterward. The just smiled and put his hand forward. "I am President McMurphy of United States of America, but it seems that we do not need formalities no?", he said still smiling towards Madam General making her roll her eyes and sighed.

"What do you need 'President' McMurphy?", Madam General said emphasizing the word President making the said man twitch his lips and annoyance can be seen in his eyes. "Come on don't call me that! I may be the current President of US but it doesn't mean we don't know each other. I would prefer if you call me by my name Elise" said McMurphy calling her real name.

"Please don't call me by my name where many people can hear us John", said Madam General and continue to eat her broccoli. She nodded her head towards her assistant and Elec snapped his fingers. A thin transparent barrier was made to cover them from any prying ears. The barrier also creates an illusion which will make the outsider see that they are just having a normal conversation which is not. "Man it is so hard to pretend that we don't know each other. Like I was taken by surprised to see you alive after all those years. I even thought that I was the only one left behind after the professor got arrested and died freeing us from his dirty, unwanted lab", said the reminiscing McMurphy sitting in a relax manner releasing some tension from the earlier demeanor.

Hearing his statement, she smiled, "Yes it has been a while since I saw someone I knew still alive and kicking. Who would have imagine that you are going to be a President of a nation with your brain"

"Are you saying that I am dumb?", said McMurphy

"Yes", said Madam General. "Wow, straight-forward and frank I see. You haven't change since then", McMurphy said which she chuckled. Turning her face into a serious one she asked "Did you somehow search for anyone who is still alive than us?", McMurphy shook his head.

He leaned forward while getting serious expression on his face. "I tried searching, but the result is either they are dead or went crazy to the point that the institution cannot turn them back", he said with a sad expression. Changing the topic, a playful smile came out, "So how come you still look so young when you are the oldest here?"

"An angry Goddess turn me into this. Never going to die. And every time I did all the memories I have will retain", she said without breaking eye contact towards the man.

"So you are saying that you did something in the past and angered a certain cockatoo bitch self-proclaimed Goddess and turn you into undying soul and be reborn again? Man that's one hell of a torture you know? You even remember how you died, your old memories keep compiling and all. Is it hard to maintain your original personality despite experiencing those? No offense since I don't know how many times you've been reincarnated but with those memories sometimes bound you to have some complex personality disorder or somewhat like that", said McMurphy.

"Well, after first three reincarnation I was confused of who I am but now I am used to it" Madam General said after finishing her food on her plate. She then placed a hand-fit-size rectangular silver metal with two dots on the upper right corner. One functions as the front camera while the other one is a flash. In the center of the rectangle metal, a straight line can be seen from left to right. "This a handy phone that you can use to call me if you need something to tell me. It is connected through one of my satellite which receives signals from Earth. Here I'll show how it works", as she said that, she pick up the rectangular metal ang hold at each end of it. She then slide each end to reveal a transparent glass that will act as the screen. McMurphy's eyes widen in surprise and amazement. She then tap the circular button on the screen display and hold it in front of McMurphy to scan his face.

"Scan complete. Please place some DNA to complete the ownership process", said the device. Madam General got her bread knife and took McMurphy's hand to slice a small cut on his forefinger to which he took his hand back immediately in surprise. "What are you doing", McMurphy said with a doubting look.

"The phone needs your blood for some security purpose for you to be able to use it", Madam General said as she hand out her hands telling McMurphy to give his hand to complete the process which he complied to. After dripping a drop of blood on the screen to which it vanished completely registering McMurphy's face and DNA on it and the phone is already usable.

"Wow, this tech is revolutionary. Guess no one will be able to open it unless I give permission right?", asked McMurphy and receiving a nod from Madam General. "It has its own AI like the phones nowadays but more advance. Also the screen is durable enough even a bullet can't create a hole in it. It is element resistant which means it is fire, water and shock proof, even dust can't prevent it from functioning. Even without signal, it can make a call and all. And the most convenient of all besides being pocket-size, is this", then Madam General pushed a button on the left bottom part of the metal before placing it on the white table cloth. The phone immediately blends to the color as well the looks of the table cloth. McMurphy's mouth hang open in amazement and awe.

"Holy sh*t! I can't even...I... I don't know what to say other than my first reaction", said McMurphy earning him a chuckle from her. Her secretary just shakes his head and smile, remembering his first reaction to this when the Development Department created this one. "Well then I think we can go now Elec", said Madam General while looking around some people heading outside the venue to leave.

Snapping out into reality, McMurphy stood up to escort her outside the venue which Madam General stopped him to do so. "Thanks but, no need for the escorting props. It's good to talk to you again President McMurphy. Until next time", she said as she stood up from her chair along with her secretary and went in front of the door. Elec's hand glowed slightly then he opened the door which reveals to the eyes of everyone a purple looking pathway which Madam General went inside and was followed by Elec then closing the door.
