Soon enough he heard the door of his cabin getting opened with a loud thud sound and the squeaky voice of the supposed to be Mr. Anderson San rang into his years, irritating him to no level..
"What's up bro? Missing me already?" Mr. Anderson asked with a quirky smile on his face.
On the other side, the CEO of the company just rolled his eyes at his business partner come friend's stupid question and growled at him, "Will you please stop using that tone of yours in front of me Troy? Trust me, it's really irritating.."
Troy Anderson who was the CEO of Anderson and Co. swiftly ignored all of his words of disdain and sat on the couch placed at the far most corner of the cabin comfortably.
"Oh come on! Just stop your all time serious drama right now. You know, you look better without this cold expression of yours, Mr. Scott Evans.." Troy mocked, sitting like a king as if he, himself owned this whole building.
Scott couldn't stop from rolling his eyes all over again and snorted at him, "Stop being a drama king, Troy. And tell me the reason behind your presence here.
As far as I remember, we don't have any meeting scheduled today. So why did you grace me with your presence in my office?"
Troy just chuckled at his friend's mockeries and pretended to get hurt brutally by his words.
Pressing his right hand on his chest, Troy exclaimed dramatically, "Oh! You just pierced my heart with your cruel words, buddy. Look how much it's bleeding right now..
Huhuhu! Now what I'm going to do with this wounded heart of mine? Mommy.. Please save me from this monster. Otherwise he won't think twice before murdering your handsome son!"
As soon as he shut his mouth, he felt something hard hitting on his arm, bringing a painful groan out of his mouth.
"Ouch!"
Scott who was already fed up with his drama, couldn't hold himself more and threw his pen stand at him while glaring at him with a frustrated expression.
"Will you stop your drama and spill out the truth right now? Otherwise, I'm going to kick you out of my office." Scott literally growled at him with a no nonsense tone which was enough of an indication for Troy to not anger the devil anymore, as he might burst out again which won't be good for him at all.
Rubbing his arm, Troy sat properly on the couch and said, "I have to go L.A. after few weeks for an important work which you're already aware of.
So came to ask you for the last time, will you be going with me or it'll be only I to travel the whole way alone?"
"And my answer will be as usual a No. I'm not going anywhere as I've an important project going on. You go alone. And if I get to manage some free time, then I'll try to join you over there." Scott said.
Nodding his head, Troy got up from the couch and said while buttoning his suit, "Fine bro. As you wish. Perhaps you change your mind, give me a call."
"Hmm…" Scott just hummed, making Troy sigh hard on his attitude.
"I'm leaving then. Bye." Troy bade him goodbye with a wave of his hands, just like a kid.
Scott just chuckled at his behaviour and softly mumbled, "Yeah.. Bye.."

A week later...
One whole week had passed with Katherine and Ethan spending most of their time with each other.
Not only they had bonded very well but also they got to know more about each other which made their relationship a lot more stronger than it already was.
They enjoyed each other's company while cleaning the house together and doing other household chores as the maid they had appointed would be joining her work from the next day.
Ethan even helped Katherine in cooking although he knew nothing about it. But him accompanying her in every work, no matter if he could be able to do them or not, was enough to make her heart flutter.
Not only household works, but they also watched many movies and web dramas together with a popcorn bowl and few bottles of bear, just like how friends usually do.
In this period of one week, they had come a lot closer to each other than they could have ever expected.
As they were taking slow steps towards making their relationship more fruitful, so they hadn't shared anymore kisses between them after their wedding night.
Though they used to peck each other's forehead, cheeks or nose but it never went beyond that.
In one sentence, both of them were extremely happy and content with the way their life was going on..
Katherine was pouring coffee for both of them when she heard Ethan's voice calling for her like a maniac.
Without wasting even a single second, she hurriedly left the coffee the way it was and rushed upstairs in a lightening speed..
"What happened Ethan? Why are you shouting like that?"
This was the first question that Katherine had asked after opening their bedroom door. But what she saw the next, made her eyes widened in shock..
