Chapter 32: Sleep angel...

The position that they were lying in, was very intimate but nothing sexual. It was more of a comfort hug which was assuring her that she was completely safe in her husband arms..

Very carefully, she tried to unwrap his arms from her body so that she can get up but before she could succeed ultimately, she felt Ethan's movement beside her..

She looked at his face only to see him twitching his eyes because of the sunlight that was disturbing his sleep, before opening them slowly like a goddamn Hollywood movie scene, looking nothing less than a hero..

As soon as Ethan's gorgeous orbs opened, those met with a pair of hazel eyes which were staring right into him with softness and full of innocence..

Her face was very much close to him which made their breath to fan on each other cheeks.

Ethan was mesmerized with her morning beauty which was looking as fresh as a flower..

Raising his hand a little, Ethan tucked few strands of her hair behind her ear which was falling on her face, disturbing to have a full view of her natural beauty..

Both Katherine and Ethan were in their own spell as they kept drowning in the depth of each other's eyes..

"Good morning.." Ethan murmured softly, caressing her left cheek with his knuckles.

Katherine felt a shiver ran down her spine as she felt his sensuous touch on her cheek.

Calming her haggard breath down, she mumbled in a low voice, "Morning.. Sorry for disturbing your sleep.."

Ethan just pecked her nose cutely and replied while shaking his head, "No.. It was not you but I'm an early riser actually. I don't know how could I sleep for this long today!"

Chuckling at his words, Katherine replied, "Maybe the exhaustion had overpowered your body, forcing your sleeping hormones to increase it's release, making you sleep longer than any other day.."

"Woah! I never knew that you can be so much elaborative. However, I don't agree with this theory of yours. It can be partial right but not completely.." Ethan exclaimed before denying her statement.

Katherine's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as she asked him in puzzlement, "What is the actual reason then?"

One of the corners of his lips uplifted into a playful smirk as he whispered seductively in her ears, "You!"

Katherine's frown grew deeper, hearing his monosyllable word as she enquired in a doubtful voice, "Me?"

Nodding his head at her in response, Ethan confirmed her presumption by saying, "Yes, you! I've never slept so peacefully in years. Maybe it was the magic of you being by my side which helped me to drift into a tight sleep..

I think you're the remedy of my lack of sleep at night. And from now on, I'm going to depend on you for having a peaceful sleep. So will you be sleep angel?"

The moment she heard those romantic words of her husband, a deep red hue appeared on her cheeks, making her blush profusely.

She couldn't believe her ears that, this man who is now her life partner could be so romantic as well as cute while demanding something so sweet from her.

Still blushing intensely, she shyly replied, "Yes.. I'll be always by your side. And... and I'm ready to be your sleep angel.."

Ethan's happiness had no bound at that moment, making him so excited that he pulled Katherine over him in an instant, before hugging her petite frame tightly, forgetting everything around him.

Katherine too reciprocated the hug and smiled fully. She was very much happy with every single happenings of her life.

Few minutes later, when they were finally able to savour each other's warmth, Katherine titled her head up to look at him.

"I think, I should have a bath right now. Then I also have to make breakfast for both of us." Katherine informed him in her utmost gentle tone.

Ethan nodded his head and released her from his hold before saying, "Hmm.. I'll then get freshen up in the other bathroom."

Nodding her head at him, Katherine quickly leapt out of his arms and rushed towards the washroom after picking up a new set of clothes..

Ethan just kept gazing at her back smilingly until she had closed the door completely and murmured to himself, "She is really very cute."

Chuckling at his own words, Ethan too got out of the bed and headed out of his bedroom with his clothes in his hands..

Katherine was in kitchen, cooking breakfast for both of them when she heard the sound of footsteps.

She knew that it was none other than Ethan who was finally coming down after having a bath. So she just kept preparing the omlette without giving much thought about the other person.

On the other side, Ethan who had reached near the dinning table which was attached to the open kitchen, felt his breath getting hitched at the mesmerizing view that he was witnessing right now..
