TW: Graphic Depictions of Violence
ADRIANO
‘Aren’t you Vin’s little girl?’
Vin Alighieri was a name that came across my ears often in the life. He was known for being an honest man, who made many decisions that, unfortunately, caught up with him. Gambling his money away, the only thing he left his daughter was his bar.
Raven’s father hadn’t been a part of my family, but that didn’t mean I hadn’t heard anything about him. Having eyes and ears on the streets and within the business let me in on everything happening around me. Vin had worked for Tony. The very man who was after my docks for his art pieces.
Although it wasn’t his art that drew attention to his organization, it was what he smuggled within the crates. Everyone wanted to use him to hide their goods in the art pieces, but that did little good if you lacked a way to move it.
