TW: Graphic Depictions of Violence
ADRIANO
The sound of cleaning guns and loading them filled my private jet. We were going over the plan Alessandro and I had decided on so everyone was on the same page. The only thing I was concerned about was getting Raven out of there by any means necessary.
I didn’t really care how it was done, as long as it was efficient. There was no telling what Tony was doing to Raven right now. Although, knowing her, I was pretty sure she was holding her own.
But underneath her tough exterior, I knew there was still the young girl who was scared out of her mind in a world she barely knew. Instead of blocking it out with music, she picked up attitude. All I wanted was for her to think clearly, but she thought in impulses instead of plans.
She should have listened to me at the beginning and trusted me, but I got it. It was hard to trust someone you didn’t know, and for all she knew, I was lying for my benefit and not hers.
