I had the worst luck with picking men. If they weren’t broken or fucked in the head, then I clearly didn’t want them. Mentally sighing, I scolded myself for being into bad boys. I should have learned by now, but clearly, I was holding out for one with a massive heart.

Adriano came to mind. Maybe for once, I hadn’t screwed up in the dating department. Rolling my eyes beneath my blindfold, I couldn’t believe I had gotten myself stuck here. The sound of idle conversation and the roaring of the plane’s electrical equipment and engines surrounded me and screamed louder than if I had been able to see.

I didn’t know where we were headed. They had neglected to tell me, not like they would. It seemed like Tony wanted it to be a surprise, like it was some prize I had been granted instead of a punishment.
