In a year of hard work, Luke managed to afford a tiny apartment. The apartment was messy, and, ummmm, loud (the walls were pretty thin.)

Also in that same year, at about the halfway point of the year, Duke was noticed at the library by some smiths. Every smith that came looking for answers at the library noticed him after a while. Some of them even said that if a position opened up, they would seek him out personally.
