Best purposal ever
It was Riya's second birthday with Aneesh. On first birthday he has celebrated in a grandly romantic way. Now, he was all charged up to take it on another level. But this time he has another plans to celebrate it on a simple but a beautiful way. A "tell" to remember .
' How will he celebrate this time?' Riya murmered to herself. I know ,he love to make her feel very very special. But I am not going to expect him to do such things every time . You know 'Boys' wel, their enthusiasm is at its peak till they get the girl. But lateron their priority changes. No my ' Aneesh' is not like other guys. But it will be harsh to expect a grand celebration every time from him. Riya kept talking to herself.
On her birthaday, Aneesh took her to their 'love nest'. She stepped inside .It was a simple arrangement. No roses, no balloons, ribbons... nothing at all. Just a cake with candle lightened over it. " Happy birthday Dear " was inscribed on the cake.
She smiled and went ahead to cut the cake. Her face was illuminated by light of the candle. Before blowing the candle she lifted her gaze and stared at him with affection. "Ohh, those big black beautiful eyes !! Doing their black magic on my heart". He was looking at her without even blinking his eyes. He just wanted to drink all the beauty of her. He was intoxicated with " Nasha" in her eyes. "

He was so spontaneous with shayri. She smiled, her cheeks blushed. Their eyes met with each other. Love was in the air. Something , something was flowing through their hearts ,connecting each other. The flow, both were feeling, was so soothining, like two hearts beating together in harmony, with a perfect synchronization. Mere words can't describe 'The feeling' .
With full of energy , Aneesh started clapping and singing " Happy birthday to you". She cut the cake, and fade first piece to him. He held half piece in his mouth, brought her close, encircled his arm around her slender waist , looking in her eyes with all the love in this universe , placed the rest of piece in her mouth. Without taking a glance away from him, she fully rested in his powerful arms, she kept gazing in his eyes with enormous passion, slowly she ate the cake, their lips brushed.
The spark between them has enlightened their hearts. No word were needed to express feelings. The chemistry was exquisite. The bonding superstrong and unshakeable.
" Hmm cake is really tasty"
" not tastier than my favourite dish" he winked.
She smiled knowing his meaning.
" Baby , please cut the cake in small pieces"
" why dear? It will take two days to finish this cake. Why to waste it now?"
" Baby listen na, I want to give cake to small children across the street. Let them also be a part of our celebration"
" Sure honey, i will be very happy to feed them"
"Please make small pieces" , he again instructed her.
Ohh.... what is this?? She screamed, with a disgusting face..
" Plastic bag???There is a tiny plastic bag inside of cake at the bottom. "We have to throw this cake, Aneesh. From which bakery u had brought this?"
He remain unfazed, without changing expressions on his face he asked ," darling can u pick up that plastic bag and throw it?"
She hesitantly held the tiny bag in pinch of her finger as if she is holding a bug. Some cream and cake was still adhered to it. She opened the dustbin with her foot and before throwing it she curiously looked at it once. Something , something was glowing inside of that, she looked confused. She brought that bag near to her eyes , tried to wipe out some cake. She felt something inside , she opened it . There was a beautiful diamond embedded in a golden ring. The light of diamond dazzled in her eyes. She was so amazed .... she couldn't utter a word.
" hey dumbo, still not understood?" He busted into laughter.
She was still looking at ring surprisingly. He took it from her, he bent his knee in front of her like a kneight, asked her hand and said ,
"MY dear , will you marry me?"
She nodded "yes" with tears of joy in her eyes.
This was the best moment of her life till now. She gave her hand . He held it softly in his hand and in her ring finger slide the ring gently. She made him rise , kissed the ring and
Both embraced each other in a tight hug.... and that thing... that divine feeling " love " started flowing from their hearts...!!!
"Sorry, Fixing a ring box in a cake was practically not possible so adjusted with a bag." He laughed childishly.
She again hugged him tightly looking at his innocent face. And said,
"Diamonds are forever... but love is eternal."
