A few minutes later, the students came out of the school and rushed out to their parents. The surroundings were quite lively with the children's cheery voices as well as their teacher's reminder to be careful.

Bai Qi stood straight in front of the entrance while looking for his little sister. Fortunately, with his long legs, Bai Qi was able to spot his sister immediately. The little girl bid her friends goodbye before she started to look around for a familiar face. 

Bai Xi Xi spotted her brother after a while. It was rare for her brother to pick her up at the school. As soon as she saw her, Bai Xi Xi ran over quickly and reached his side.

"Brother Bai Qi!" The little girl smiled brightly. "You came to pick me up today?"

"Mmm..." Bai Qi patted his sister's head.

"Don't you have to go to the hospital today?"

"I'm on my off day."
