Chapter 67: Who is She?

Waiting patiently in the room, Evelyn was racking her mind around the conversation of the elderly couple and Alexander.

'I should have asked them for their names,' Evelyn sighed as she shook her head, 'Maybe next time.'

'But did Alexander make me a fool?' The interaction between the two was a bit off.

'Girlfriend?' Evelyn smiled sarcastically, 'As if.'

"What was that all about?" Evelyn asked as soon as Alexander entered the room.

"Hm?" Alexander looked at Evelyn with his raised eyebrows as he removed his tie with his hand.

"I asked the staff, the couple did have a temporary reservation, but because we reserved the whole hotel for our group, they just assumed that the couple might not show up." Alexander shrugged his shoulder as he unbuttoned the first two buttons of his shirt.

"I figured that much out," Evelyn said, crossing her hands over her chest.

"Then?" Alexander sat on the small couch, which was lying beside the bed. He resembled a king looking down at his subjects.
