Chapter 173: Too Much Hustle

Oliver entered the house.

The door was tightly closed as all the lights were off. He could not understand why. 

'Is Clara not at home?'

'But she texted me.'

Oliver had moved towards the switches as he lit the room lights on. There was nothing out of the ordinary. 

Oliver looked at the empty kitchen.

'Did Clara not eat?'

Oliver knew that Clara hated to cook just because she did not know how to. But there were not even takeout boxes there. 

'Maybe she had eaten at the company.'

Oliver removed his shoes as he wrote home slippers. He moved towards his room as he removed his tie.

Even though they had shifted and Oliver had his books in Clara's room, Oliver wanted to give Clara some space. He wanted her to accept their condition completely before they took a step further.

'I should change before I have something to eat.'
