Chapter 1: The Shadow

I have always been a shy one. And my love for books gave me the nerdy personality, but don't get me wrong, I hate the subject books. My first and last love of life are books, fictional and unrealistic books, like magic and spells, witches and all that stuff.

And here I am standing in front of my new high school. Flinch Magers High School, one of the prestigious high schools in Canada. I reluctantly went inside and looked around, I had been called on a Sunday to meet the principal and look around the building to get familiar with it. I went to the upper floors to find a secret spot for myself near the roof when I saw a shadow passing through the halls and up the side staircase, going towards the top hall. As curious as I was, I started behind the shadow and went upstairs.

When I reached the top, I couldn't find anyone there. Thinking of it as my imagination, I started descending only to stop by a glimpse of the shadow going towards the side hall.

My curiosity was picked again as I followed after it. Only to come to a dead-end again.

wait...

'Is that a door?'

Seeing a door attached to the wall, I decided to open it. Reaching out, I placed my hand on the knob and twisted it, opening the door wide, what I saw was...
