Chapter 47: Chapter 48

Karthik's silence is killing me more than my HR  words. I felt hopeless in this situation.

" Just remove her from the job, sir." My HR head advised Karthik.

" I too think the same. There will be no place for betrayers in my company" Karthik said and took long strides towards me.

I was afraid of his anger. 

He came close to me and asked what punishment I should give? 

 I could not frame any words….

" Please, believe me, I didn't even know that person" I sobbed.

" Then I need evidence from your side that you are innocent," Karthik said.

I looked at him with disbelief.

" I have no evidence to prove myself" I said while hiccuping.

" I know very well. What should I do with such a  person?" He said in a dangerous tone.

Suddenly, he turned towards my HR head and asked to bring the proforma of a employee's suspension letter.  My HR smirked at me and brought the letter.
