Chapter 108: Investigation

"Sir, should we let in the police officers?" One bodyguard opened the door, just enough for popping his head in the room, but not for the police officers to see inside.

"Let them in," Lei said and got up from the couch he was sitting on. Chao didn't bother to do that. His head was still resting near Yitian. 

He was determined to stay awake even though he was so tired. He could barely keep his eyes open and even lifting his head was tiring.

The bodyguard opened the door more, and the other stepped aside to let in two men. They wore casual clothes, but had their badges out and flashed them to Lei, who was standing near.

"Hello, we are here to investigate the assault charges," one of them said and Lei led them to the table near and let them sit on the couch, he himself sat on the chair.
