Chapter 34: welcome gosip
if you comes to a hotel you'll probably get some welcome drinks as the present . but different for Hyun Jae, Bom, Song, Hyo joo, Nana, and Vivi. beginning of their 3rd semester will be as spicy as hell.
cause you know what they get? a welcome gossips.
everyones likes to talk, from casual thing into intimates one. you talk with person you not close to, to someone you trusted. sadly not all conversations is pretty good, some of it is just trash, and people likes to talk about it.
Gossip is casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true. according to dictionary. for for people who become a subject of that gossip its something that ruin their life, cause mostly its not true.
they talk from one mouth to another, and one to other and like that, the chain is never stop but the content of its getting more and more exaggerated as they add more spice in everything they talk about it.
new semester is starting, new students all comes the way from entire South Korean or abroad. they will take their first semester happily as new journey, some of them already in their 2nd year, 3rd even, prepare to graduate or stay for more years.
university is full and crowd now, perfect time to hanging out with friends, walk together, sitting under tree, club activities, eat at cafeteria or canteen, or sits around university bench.
everyone busy with their own business but as you know, life always have things to surprise you.

a groups of girls talk while walking
"hahaha, yes you know it, I bet she's been raped by that psycho. that's why she break up with Hyun Jae" a girl with floral shirt said
"good for it, know I has chances to get to Hyun Jae, he's handsome " a girl with feminine style wave her hair
"hahaha " other girls is laughing with them
Hyo Joo sit at the bench wearing cap, just heard what they said about herself. she stand and walking away from the crowd.

at the bench under the tree, three boys sit while slurping their drinks.
"Song? he's pieces of shit. when he finds out her girlfriend has a stalker he leaves her. what a shame" the boys with checkered shirt said
"ah, Vivi is so smart how can she date person like Song?" a boys with glasses said
"so she's available now. I better get her, you know her parents is ministry. she's rich girl" a man with black t shirt said
Song clenched his fist hear about those trash while he accidentally walk across the park.
Song walks close to them, he really wants to punch them. but Bom grab his hand.
"there's no good to do with that" Bom said
he drag Song away from them.
"Vivi has nice body. yes she's also rich. I can wait to seduce her and if she falls for me we can you know...."
"hahaha"
all of them laughing and harassing Vivi. when Bom is not pay attention to him, Song run and punch one of them.
"what the..." he said
"you stop saying about Vivi with your dirty mouth" Song said
Song punches him again. the others two try to pull Song from their friends. but Song is becomes crazy, He punches the two in their head makes them dizzy.
Bom then realizes Song is back to fight. Bom runs to him.
"hey stop it" Bom said
but Song doesn't want to stop, then Bom force him to stop him by hugs him with all his power.
"Song stop" Bom drag him away
"if I heard you speak like that about Vivi, you all will die you hear me" Song
"hey, stop it" Bom drag Song far away

Hyun Jae walk alone with a cheer up mood, knows that he might be have a chance to get back with Hyo Joo.
"Hyun Jae!!" someone call his name
a girl from his class, she's wearing dress and long coat as the outer.
"hello" Hyun Jae said politely
"why you so formal?" she said
"ah, yes. you are my sunbae (senior) and I'm sorry I don't remember sunbae name" Hyun Jae said
the girl but upset but then she try to act cute
"how you can remember me? I'm Youn Ha. we take 2 same class last year" she said
Hyun Jae just scratch his head
"forget it, let's go" She link her hand to Hyun Jae
"wait" Hyun Jae surprise with her act
"why" she act innocent
"what is this, can sunbae let go of me?" Hyun Jae said
"why, you not like it?" she said
"yes, this is awkward and uncomfortable sunbae "Hyun Jae said
"ah I thought you like it, since the gossip said you just act and talk innocent but actually you're good in bed even you cheat to your girlfriend with Na eun, you know Na eun reputation is pretty famous around this university. you one of her toys" Youn Ha let her hand of Hyun Jae
"what?" Hyun Jae shock to find about that gossip is circulating around
"I just want to play with you a bit actually. I've been likes you since you were a freshman. im just bored lately .are you play hard to get?" Youn Ha play with Hyun Jae shirt collar
"you don't know about it. Na eun said you pretty good at bed. this nunna will play gentle with you" She touch Hyun Jae's chest
Hyun Jae look around, no people around. Hyun Jae grab her hand and squeezing it
"you know what, I want to roast you. but my mom forbid me to burn trash, she said better to buried it" Hyun Jae eyes become so scary
Youn Ha is really shock and scare. she never see this side of Hyun Jae. people always thought him as sloppy, soft and kind person. she actually know the gossip is fake but she still want to seduce him at least once. but she never thought she will get this from this boy.
"never lay your filthy hands on me, don't come near me. or as I said before I'll buried you" Hyun Jae still squeeze Youn Ha hand
"it's hurt" Youn Ha feel her hand want to crush
"if what happens today spread, you better run cause I'll make you suffer. you better stop spreading that gossip cause I know who's Na eun. she might be crazy but she never said something as trashy as your mouth" Hyun Jae then let her hand and continue walking.

at law major department, Vivi open her locker to take some books. at that time several girls from her class walk while talking.
"Vivi? how pity. how can that happened with her"
girl with short hair said
"why you pity on her. look what happened with Hyo Joo, her friend is kidnapped by her stalker. how can she still have a face to come to class? she should pay some gratitude to her friend. also she always act as perfect person all the time. at the end she's just fake" girl with brown and wear glasses said
"yes you right, just because she's from rich family, it doesn't allows her to close over all the case" the shirt girl said
"right, I heard her family shut the case leaving her friend just as low victim and not sue the kidnapper as much as he could deserves" the girl with brown hair said
they enter the class, while vivi shed tears in front if her locker. Vivi close her locker and go away, she skips her morning class.
she dial some numbers
"dad" Vivi said with trembling voice
"yes, my dear"
"can I ask you a favor?" vivi ask ,her eyes is teary
"anything for you" his dad answer
"open the case to public" Vivi said while begin to cry
"why, you said you will be ashamed about it" his dad said
"cause I just realized that someone people I care life a miserable life after that incident " Vivi is crying
"oh, sweetheart don't cry. it's not your fault. trust me, we will make that psycho never see sunlight anymore"
Vivi hold her chest
"honey, listen to me. don't listen to what other peoples said. they just enjoying your pain and weakness and be happy above it. you must fight them. keep your head up. they just nothing in your life. the one you should care is the one that you loves and care the one who stand by your side. go find them say that you are sorry and get their forgiveness" her dad said
"honey, I'll protect you at all cost. my reputation its not matter. for me it's yours that I care. if you want to open to public about this case you might be get more than a gossip. but you ca getting back people you loves. are you willing to sacrifice for them? are they worth for it?" her dad ask
Vivi nodded, she's alone at the rooftop of her department building.
"yes dad, I'll do everything to get my friends and my loves one back to my side"

Nana enter her class alone, she have different class with Hyo Joo. she wears fit black dress and milk chocolate color of coat. she sit at the chair, she put her earphone listen song from her phone list.
suddenly someone take her right earphone, make her surprise, Nana look at the person who takes her earphone.
it's a girl that splashed her with water at the Cafe before.
"what is this about?" Nana stand up
"it's you right? my friends said it was you that night" she said
"what night?" Nana ask
"yes, we see you that night walking with Taeil" that girl friend said
"Taeil? Taeil sunbae?" Nana ask just to make sure
"yes, he's my boyfriend " the girl who splashed Nana said, her name is Dona.
"take of your hand from my boyfriend " Dona said
"hey. I never lay my hands on your boyfriend " Nana said
"my friend said you get out from restaurant together and walk and not back to the restaurant after that" Dona said
"do you have a proof?" Nana said
"give me your phone" Dona said
"why I must give it to you?" Nana ask
"you act weak in front of your boyfriend. but now the real you is out. you bitches" Dona said
plak, Nana slaps Dona , make Dona fall. everyone at the class surprises.
"you so noisy. you want to check my phone, why you don't check his. are you sure it's me? bring the proof that I seduced your boyfriend . if you can't proof it's me, you better don't go after me"
"what happened?" one of Nana sunbae (senior) named Seungho comes
"why make scene here?" seungho ask
"aren't you Taeil girlfriend? what are you doing here ? you're not from business major" He ask
"this bitches seduce Taeil" She said
"what? Nana?" seungho ask
"you might be wrong" seungho said
"but they went out for drinks several days ago" Dona said
"yes we drinks, we many of us. we drinks at restaurants and Nana comes to eat with his boyfriend there. so she greeted us. but your boyfriend ask Nana something he said he wants to talk with her. so Nana follow her out"
that time
"Nana, why you keep rejecting me" Taeil said
"sunbae you're drunk, I have boyfriend " Nana said
but Taeil grab Nana's hand and force to hug her. Nana slapped Taeil.
"after that I came there and bring Taeil home. Nana also call her boyfriend to come over her and they also going home that night " seungho explains
"so if you want to blame you better blamed Taeil" Seungho said
embarrassed for her actions Dona walk out from the class. after a minute Nana also left the class. she calling Bom
"where are you?" Nana ask
"in club room with song" Bom said
Nana run to Music club room, she opens the door. Bom is sitting at the couch listen song that composed by Song.
Nana rushed to Bom
"hey what happened?" Bom ask
Nana just hug and crying inside Bom arms. Bom then not ask anything and just hold Nana tight in his arms. let her cry as much as she wants. Song out from composing room, he bit awkward. Bom give a code to silent. Song then walk out from the room without making any sounds.

Hyo Joo walking to university office. she's called by administrative to prepare some events to welcoming new students.
She open the door and enter the room. she open her cap.
"hello sir" Hyo joo said her greetings
"ah Hyo Joo. sit here. so for today events you and your partner will be in part of the opening and welcoming ceremony. as the representative of this university. I hope you can prepare some speech and this our university introduction you will present it together with your partner in English and Hangul okay" Mr. Hyun explains
"yes sir" Hyo joo take the USB
"I've called Hyun Jae he will be here soon, you can use our meeting rooms for preparation. the events will start at 3 pm so you still have plenty of time. do you have class today? " he ask
"no sir" she said
"then good" Mr Hyun said
"take this, buy some coffee and snack for three of us, before Hyun Jae comes" he handed some card
"okay sir" Hyo Joo said
"Hyo Joo... is this okay?" Mr Hyun ask
"yes its okay" Hyo Joo said

Hyo joo enter the canteen to buy coffee and snacks. some groups of girls is gossiping without know she is there.
"Hyo joo, hahaha. that cooky girl. she deserves it. she always feel her pride is above all of us"
"you know what, now many girls is comes after Hyun Jae, after he break up with that witch "
"of course he's handsome, rich and gossip said he's also good at bed" they begin to laugh
"peoples said that witch never have s** with Hyun Jae. so how can people said he's good at bed?" other girl ask
"you know Na eun?" other ask
"yes yes... she's famous bitches at our university"
"people said they enter hotel together and the fun fact is that time Hyun Jae still dating Hyo Joo"
"what wah... really?" everyone keeps getting more spice to the gossip
"and you know people said Hyo Joo is raped by the stalker"
"stalker, also the one who kidnapped her?" one by one they keep asking and talking and gossiping
"yes , yes. and Hyun Jae dump her like a trash"
"what a cold hearted boy, but I love him... I'll try to flirt with him"
"me too... me too..." everyone giggling without knowing Hyo joo hear all they said
"Hyo joo!!!" someone call her name out loud
makes Hyo Joo and everyone surprise. the girls who gossiping Hyo joo is silence.
Someone waving to Hyo Joo. it's Hong Joo.
"Hyo joo. how are you? this my first day in here. the canteen and cafeteria menu is good"
Hyo Joo just nodded and walk
"Hyo Joo wait" he said
"guys gossiping is not good for your health" Hong Joo said to the girls
"who are you?" one of them angry
"me. no one. but It's pity that pretty girls like you wasting time spread gossip. I hope your talks as pretty as your face. but turns out it's so trashy. I better watch out from girls like you. hahaha. bye" Hong Joo laugh and go
the girls is really embarrassed and upset over his word.
Hong joo take little run to chase Hyo joo
"Hyo Joo!!" he called
Hyo Joo stop walking
"why you walk so fast?"
"I need to hurry" Hyo joo said and walking again
Hong joo try to keep Hyo Joo phase
"they all gossiping about you. why you just silence?" Hong joo ask
"cause gossip is gossip once they get bored they will forget everything. once they find other people to becomes their subject they'll forget about me" Hyo Joo said
"but the flame that not get down will burn all the house " Hong Joo said
"yes, but I don't want to waste my time for that things. I have lot to do"
Hong joo just fell frustrated
"listen " Hyo joo stop walking
"i don't need to explain anything cause people who likes me won't hear to that gossip and people who hates me don't need my explanation
but Hong Joo , thank you for believing me. see you later" Hyo Joo walk away

Hyun Jae sits alone at the meeting room. he's not late but why everyone is not here.
Hyun Jae walk to the window at the corner, he's looking out. people are walking and talking everywhere. there's some couples walking while holding hands and laugh to each other. they looks happy.
Hyo Joo open the door carefully, her hands full.
Hyo joo put all of them in the desk, she's not realized Hyun Jae is around.
Hyun Jae not speak a word he worries that he might surprise her.
Hyo joo sits and open her cap. she's zoning out for a while. she put her hand at the table and put her face above her hands. she begin to cry.
Hyun Jae walks slowly and sits beside her. Hyo joo crying voice is low, like she doesn't want anyone hear her crying.
Hyun Jae stroke her hair gently. makes Hyo Joo feel it , she keeps up her face and Hyun Jae smile to her and look her with that affectionate looks. Hyo Joo at some moment feel so happy that she stop crying a bit.
Hyun Jae wipe her tears with a tissue.
they look at each other for a while. trying to look for honesty and loves in each other eyes.

have you ever become topic of gossip, I bet you have. how to deal it. there's no exact way to deal with that. some of you will used action likes Song or Nana, some of you might be run and crying like Vivi, some of you might be use scary ways like Hyun Jae, some of you might be just silence and let the gossip away and crying at the back like Hyo joo, or defend your friends like Hong joo. it's depends on your choices. cause the gossip is a gossip.
