Chapter 2: SHS Princes
After the principal's announcement,the students went into their various class rooms, as they were about to enter, Hei Ryung, Hwa- Young and Hyun-Ok strutted past the crowd and sat beside Min Joon , Jung-Hwa and Ha Joon(SHS Princes). Ha Rin could hear a bunch of girls giggling behind. It was very clear why, SHS Princes were handsome and one could tell they were from a wealthy home. The other students quickly took their seats and waited for the teacher to come. Not quite long their mathematics teacher Mr Song came in, class began.
"excuse me sir you made a mistake" a girls said as Mr Song turned away from the board and looked at the girl, the girl stood up shyly and pointed out the mistake. Mr Song smiled at her and thanked her for noticing.
"Mr Song, how long have you been teaching in this school?" Min Joon asked coldly, all the students turned to Mr Song waiting for an answer.
"14 years" he answered shaking
" That's long, don't you think it's time for you to retire" Ha Joon said looking at him.
"please I have no other job, this is the only job I have to feed my family" Mr Song pleaded.
"Mr Song please understand, we can't afford to fail any exams,our parents expect good results from us, they will think that we don't pay attention to our books,meanwhile it's our teacher who makes simple mistakes all the time" Jung-Hwa said with no sympathy. Mr Song knelt down pleaded with them, but they wouldn't change their minds,he got tired of pleading and stood up gently and left the class. No one could say a word, to some it was the right thing but others couldn't help but feel sympathy for the man.
"Those boys are too cruel" Ha Rin said did in anger.
"After pleading with them for so long they still didn't change their minds" Ha Eun added as they walked along the school garden during break.
"It's Mr Song" Ha Eun said as they both looked at him along with some other students. The girl who corrected Mr Song earlier ran to him crying and bowed her head, though no one could here what they were saying, they could still tell she was begging for forgiveness. Mr Song patted her head and comforted her and left. As the girl was turned to go back, Hei Ryung gave her a slap on her face.
"how dare you do that" she said angrily. The poor girl was in tears after that slap and couldn't say anything. Hei Ryung along with her Hwa-Young and Hyun-Ok began hitting the girl. The bell suddenly rang,Hei Ryung and her friends stopped hitting the girl and went back to class along with the other students. The poor girl stood there crying, after some time, she cleaned her eyes and quickly ran back to class.
