Chapter 84: She Who Accepted Her New Fate

Vanished? Did he even use the right word? 

I sighed and looked out of the window of the plane. We were bound for Manila in a couple of hours. And I was thinking if Duncan used the right words regarding his son. 

If he wanted Colin to be gone for good, he did use the right word, but, he was the only family he had left. So, the better word would be banished. I mean, if was worried about me developing feeling for his son.

I mentally threw up thinking about it. Colin may look like the younger version of his father but nowhere near his level. Not just in terms of maturity, but, in my eyes, Colin would always be the eldest of my children. 

I felt him looking at me. He had been for the past few minutes. It was getting uncomfortable knowing that he was thinking and feeling like that to me. I let out another sigh, which prompted Duncan to look at me, one of his eyebrows was raised in question. I shook my head. Thinking about it would not help me.
