Just moments earlier, Cloud Russell, who was full of fear, was now dumbfounded in place. Initially, she thought she was going to lose her innocence today and was almost scared to tears.

Charlotte Cooper quickly turned around to help her untie the rope without saying much, given the tense situation, she then hurriedly pulled Cloud Russell away from there.

The pair, following a few twists and turns, quickly left the alley and came to a somewhat crowded place. Once she was certain they had reached safety, Cloud Russell paused to catch her breath.

Charlotte, too, was beginning to feel a bit exhausted from exerting so much energy and stood still with Cloud to rest.

After a while, Charlotte suddenly asked, "Do you trust me?"

At first, Cloud Russell didn't understand what she was saying, but after taking a few breaths and regaining her composure, she understood, "Of course I trust you. You're my sister-in-law."
