Chapter 32: Misunderstandings.

Early morning, Jasmine went to her brother's room and found him still sleeping. She had never seen him sleeping peacefully for a while now after he broke up with his other girlfriend.

She admits Kiara must had alot of influence on him these days because MB was the type who hardly stays at home till the following morning. She shook her head severally and went close to him, and pulled the cover clothe to cover him well.

She turned to leave his room then she saw him waking up. She quickly left the room since she didn't want her brother to see her in the room.

MB woke up and and checked the time. He realized he had slept more than usual since he usually wakes up before everyone does. He went straight to his washroom and had a quick bath.

He returned and dressed up and went out of his room since he had plans for the day. He got downstairs and met his sister having some coffee. "Going somewhere?" Jasmine asked him when she noticed him in the living room.

MB went close to her and had a sip of her coffee before nodding. "Yes ... I have stuffs to attend to" "Alright.. just be safe"Jasmine replied and had her attention back on her phone. she smiled when she raised her head.

She looked towards her brother's direction and smiled again. She didn't understand why she smiled but she's just happy for him.

Kiara and Erica decided to go out and get some groceries for the house since the one Erica bought the other time was finished. They wore simple dresses especially Kiara since she didn't want to look too official.

Erica sat at the driver's seat while Kiara sat beside her. Erica drove out quickly nodding her head. Kiara watched her quietly since she didn't understand why Erica was just nodding her head to something she had no idea of.

She saw her smiling afterwards then her curiosity just won't let her ignore Erica's attitude that morning "dude, what's up?" Kiara asked her "Nothing" Erica answered then took a little glance at Kiara who was still watching her.

Kiara pressed her lips since she didn't want to believe what Erica just said. "there's no way it's nothing if something is not going through your head". Erica chuckles and smiled widely. "See, just ignore me... it nothing and don't think I'm hiding something okay". Erica assured her and kept on driving.

Kiara had no choice than to accept all that she said since she said she's not hiding anything from her. They arrived at the supermarket and Erica parked the car but before she could park the car, she noticed someone she had seen before.

She was able to recognized the person and knew who it was. There's no way she would see him and not noticed him anywhere.

Kiara was about to get down then Erica quickly locked the doors. Kiara was stunned by her sudden action since she didn't understand why she locked the doors. Erica didn't want Kiara to alight from the car since she noticed another lady around MB.

Erica couldn't help but bite her lips since she was thinking of a way out to distract her from seeing what she noticed. "Ain't we going to get the stuffs anymore?" Kiara asked her raising an eyebrow. "ermm... errr... yh...." Erica stammered.

Kiara didn't understand what was going on. She raised her hand and check Erica. "You are okay and I'm sure everything is alright up there so why are you behaving like this? Don't you want to go in there?" Kiara asked her.

Erica stole another glance and saw MB holding the lady he was standing with but the lady quickly let go off him and held him instead pulling him towards a different direction. They were out of her sight then she didn't know when she let out a long breathe.

She unlocked the doors saying "I was just checking something but it okay now". "Then can we go now?" Kiara asked and she nodded. Kiara shook her head in amazement and stepped out of the car leaving Erica behind.

" That was close... what on earth is going?" Erica said to herself getting lost in her thoughts. She hoped it nothing relating to what she was thinking of. She came out of the car also and walked as fast as she could and caught up with Kiara who was almost getting inside of the building.

Meanwhile, when MB left the house and decided to get some stuffs for Kiara since he was going to pass by their house. When he got to the supermarket and as soon as he got out of his car, his ex girlfriend happened to be in that same supermarket.

His ex girlfriend Aurora saw him as well. She had been trying to get intouched with him for the past few days and MB ignores her calls anytime she calls his number.

And meeting him here today was a great relief for her since she had planned of going to his house to see him. MB realized she was coming towards his direction so he quickly left his car and head towards the building.

Aurora was fast enough and caught up with him. "Babe, can I talk to you for minute" She asked but MB ignored her. "MB please...." Aurora said again. MB didn't want to be rude to her in public so he decided to hear whatever she wants to tell him.

She led him inside while holding his hand though MB didn't feel comfortable with it, he still didn't say anything to her. Aurora took MB to a place where both of them can have a quick chat before letting him go.

"What do you want to tell me, Aurora" MB asked her since he was running of out of time. "okay I'll go straight to the point okay.... I just want to say sorry for the way I treated you". MB stood there listening. "So what...." MB asked her "I want you back" Aurora stated.

MB was not expecting those words from her. why will she want him back again since she made it clear she didn't love him. " I loved you MB, it just that I couldn't expressed my feelings that I had for you and now I'm ready to show you how much I love you...." Aurora said again "I'm sorry, I'm dating now and I don't love you anymore" MB informed her and stepped back.

Aurora was shocked from what she just heard but she didn't want to believe what he said. She went close to him and held him with the intention of kissing him on the lips.

Not knowing, Kiara wanted to use the washroom so she excused herself and asked one of the workers where their washroom was. She was directed to the same place MB and Aurora was and she had no idea of what was awaiting her.

She walked briskly since she didn't want to leave Erica alone. But as she got there, she saw two people standing close to each other but she didn't pay much attention to them since she thought it one of those lovers who always like to make out anywhere they are.

But as she walked past them, something told her stop and look at them again and to her surprise, that was MB kissing another lady in public. She opened her mouth to talk but she lost her voice. "Babe?!" she finally found her voice and screamed.

MB recognized the voice and looked at the direction the voice came from and there stood his girlfriend who just witnessed what just happened between him and Aurora. "fucked" he cursed within and pushed Aurora away from him.

He tried getting towards her but Kiara raised her hand and stopped him. He didn't think of anything else than to explain everything to her since she was getting the whole thing wrong.

As he got nearer to her, he tried touching her but Kiara slapped him on the face "I hate you!". She run out of the place and went to Erica who had no idea of what just happened. "Take me home..." Kiara said with tears falling down her cheeks.

"oh my God Kiara, what happened? why are you crying" she asked her but Kiara stood there watching her while tears fell down her cheeks uncontrollably. Then MB came out and head towards them. Erica saw him and knew something was off.

"I said take me home Erica!" Erica had no choice than to pay for the little things they got and took Kiara to their car. As she opened the door for Kiara, MB came to them and went close to Kiara but Kiara slapped him again on his face. "I don't want to see you.... just leave and go to her you, cheater!" .

Kiara yelled at him and Erica nodded to MB. she raised an eyebrow expecting him to leave them alone and he did. He didn't want to create any scene and since he has lot of respect for his girlfriend and her best friend.

His heart aches and he had no choice than to return back to his house without finishing what he came to do. Erica drove Kiara home. Kiara couldn't stopped thinking about the whole incidence. she was hurt by MB's action and the tears kept on falling down her cheeks...

Erica tried has as much as she could to console her and ask her what happened but seeing her in that state, was hurting her as well.
