Chapter 123: Not Satisfied With The Pay

It was July, right in the middle of summer, so the heat from the sun was scorching hot. Even the cicadas chirping on the branches sounded a little lazy.

Camdell Resort was already completed and would open for business in a week. Serenity and the others were busy with the preparations for the opening day.

Everyone was listlessly decorating the venue, missing the cool air conditioning in the office.

Serenity raised her arm to wipe the sweat off her forehead, then she looked up at the blazing sun hanging in the sky and grumbled with slight dissatisfaction.

"President Jones is here for an inspection," said someone. "Everyone, look alert."

Serenity turned around to see Gabriel and the others getting out of the car. Despite the hot weather, he was still wearing a tailored suit over a white shirt. He walked in with his long and straight legs.
